Middle East Conflict

It's not a barren wasteland though. Palestine is fertile land in comparison to Its neighbours.
The last five words of your post sort of underline, albeit somewhat dilute, my point. In relative terms to much of the planet, it isn’t fertile at all, yet different tribes are in perpetual conflict about it, without any realistic prospect of that ending.

It was more a comment on human nature than the land itself.

Interesting analysis by Daniel Levy ....not that one

Some of the terminology, "fracturing of Israeli psyche" and "the collapse of the social contract", chimes with what Ilan Pappe has consistently argued over the last 15 months. Namely that although the process is likely to be protracted and bloody (particularly for the Palestinians), the collapse of zionism is inevitable.

Also anyone casually throwing "viable Palestinian state" into the mix should take note of the internal conflict that he highlights in this. The state of Israel v the state of Judea. It's a mere illusion under the former but an outright delusion under the latter.

Has Trump just essentially suggested forced migration to Jordan and Egypt, so he's giving Gaza to Israel by telling neighbours to take people they don't want.

So, Trump wants the Palestinians to vacate Palestine and move away to Jordan and Egypt.

Has he already got contractors in place to build the new Trump Towers for Israeli tourists?

Trump once again proves how ignorant he is.

The majority of Jordan's population are Palestinian descendents.

If Egypt or Jordan took more Palestinians in, it wouldn't be long before Hamas or their spiritual successor sets up a terrorist recruitment and training branch to wage war on Israel.

Freed hostages:

Zionists opinions:

These soldiers have been brainwashed!
These soldiers have been forced to act!
These soldiers are acting!

Some incredible scenes yesterday, with the Israeli prisoners looking very happy and well treated by the prisoners

Looks like all the Israeli stories about prisoners being raped and badly treated etc were, once again, bullshit (and confessions):

Was reading the list of executive orders from yesterday, apparently he has dropped the sanctions against some West Bank illegal settlers. Why would you do that on your first day fs just sets the tone from the off by the looks of it.
Because Israeli billionaire Miriam Adelson donated 100 million to Trumps election and she wants a return on her investment, which appears to be the west bank. Receipts - Here

Times Of Israel - "Adelson’s spokesperson earlier this year denied a report that she conditioned support for Trump on his public endorsement of Israeli annexation of the West Bank. But a top confidant, Rabbi Shmuley Boteach, told the New York Times she’s against the establishment of a Palestinian state." Link - Here

Middle East Eye - "Miriam is a megadonor to Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank, and her husband faced a $34bn lawsuit in 2016 for their support of Israeli settlement expansion. Settler expansion has led to increased settler attacks against Palestinians and the forced expulsion of Palestinians from their homes." Link - Here

The obvious next move after cleansing Gaza of those annoying Palestinians is to do the same to the West Bank.

What Trump's suggesting is akin in percentage terms to 3 million people moving from Mexico to the USA (1% of the receiving country, assuming 1 million go to Egypt). Jordan taking even 500k would be equivalent another 13 million or so moving to the USA (4% roughly).

Nice of them to give them such a good send off.

That second woman who climbed up the stage, on minute 0:50 I assume that that Al Qassam guard she passed by uttered something? (cant tell, he was wearing a balaclava), which made her look at that guard for a good 2 seconds, but what made it seemed curious was after she turned her head again, she smiled, as if seemed recognising each other. Balaclava and all.

The two knew each other? They went out for dates?

Maybe he was a sympathetic guard in captivity.

Pretty inevitable you’d develop some sort of relationship with your captors in those circumstances. And not necessarily something as malign as Stockholm syndrome. She was a valuable asset and it wouldn’t be in their best interests to put a **** as her guard. Perfectly plausible they built up a genuine bond.

I actually think if Hamas somehow managed to take a load of hostages without causing all that utter mayhem and mass slaughter then this could have played out very differently.

But they didn’t, and we are where we are.

I guess when you've exhausted every avenue to stop your people getting murdered daily, Occupied, land stolen you are desperate for the world to take notice. It's certainly not a good way to go about it as it's cost them anywhere from 60'000 - 120'000 of their people being slaughtered, also pratically the whole of Gaza Levelled.

They were fucked before 7th October with no chance of freedom and now even more fucked.

Despite nearly starving the hostages, Hamas used special techniques to make them look healthier and more energetic.

Hamas has reportedly implemented an “accelerated rehabilitation” process for the hostages before their release. The terrorist organization, according to a report from N12, provides hostages with nutritious food and stimulants shortly before their release to create the impression that they were treated well during captivity.

Well, according to their own media, their reputable one at that, Hamas used a special technique.

I don’t know what technique that is, but I think it’s giving them food.

Well, Musk didn't really give a Nazi salute, and Trump didn't really suggest the ethnic cleansing of Gaza.
