Twats,

Lost 2 packages and the recipients are asking for their money back via Paypal and it aint my fault. First one didn't give the right address so not technically Evbris fault and the second one....well I refused to send unless he took full responsibilty.
Put in a counter claim to Evri but I'm not holding my breath...

That's all, as you were.

We are fortunate to have a very efficient Evri delivery lady, she is friendly too. We haven’t had one item that hasn’t arrived. To be fair we are retired so sone of us tends to be in most of the day, but she knows the safe place.

I'm sure he was a French international player.
But SWP didn't half give him a torrid time on his debut for United .

EVRI were beyond useless with a parcel I bought in December. Their customer support is shite. They tried to blame me first and then the company that I bought the items from.

All the while, their tracking app shows that the last sighting of it was at one of their delivery hubs.

Have you checked your blue bin? Yes.
Was it there? No.
Have your rummaged properly to make sure you haven’t just missed it?
It’s 90 fucking toilet rolls, so no, I haven’t missed it.

Anyway, Groupon refunded me and I forgot about it.

The bog rolls turned up on 10th January.

Don’t get me started on this bunch of lying, incompetent cowboys.

So many times they’ve let me down but falsely claimed to have attempted delivery. Then, after three “attempts” it’s returned to the depot only for the cycle to be repeated a few days later. So the parcel I wanted quickly arrives two weeks later if at all.

I’ve now resorted to insisting on a return and refund from any company that uses them on the first occasion that Evri try this on. I’ve had to escalate to a manager a couple of times when the agent tells me they need to first receive it back from Evri before issuing the refund. We also now avoid ordering from anyone that is likely to use them.

They are God’s gift to Amazon.

Did nobody tell you COVID lockdown was over?

Amazon are even worse here. The Evri guy actually knocks and waits. Amazon just put it on the step or in front of the bins.

Varies. There’s always someone in here so it doesn’t matter to us. Could be an issue for others though. But that’s better than not attempting to deliver, then lying.

Two other points. Amazon give a firm date and stick by it. I’ve used them hundreds and hundreds of times and they’ve never failed to deliver and only been late once.

Amazon also have a no quibble returns policy. Many companies fcuk you about when something goes wrong.

I sometimes feel guilty using a company that sells so much Chinese stuff. At the end of the day, though, their operational efficiency and customer service knock everyone else into a cocked hat.

Amazon parcels do actually arrive though.

I ordered something on vinted and the dozy evri guy delivering it managed to lose the parcel in the gutter outside my house, before a good samaritan found it and knocked on the door.

Because it had never officially arrived, I waited for the item to go past it's date and both the seller and myself got all our money back. And I got a free item that was a little damaged but easily rectified with a replacement case.

Amazon always send an email with a 2 hour time slot for delivery.
And you can track the delivery van and it shows how many other deliveries it has to make until it gets to your address, and it shows where the van actually is on a street map, usually just 2 or 3 streets away.

Correct. They are only as good as the commonsense as the courier though.

Caught some idiot from Amazon trying to push an item through the gap in the door at my workplace.

Although to be fair to him, Whoever did order it had put part of the part of the office floor on the address rather than something sensible e.g. loading bay or office.

So it does work both ways.

EVRI are absolutely useless. Had a parcel 'delivered' on Saturday. I had an email to say it had been delivered at 10:50, at 10:50 I was outside the house and didn't see any signs of them. Looking at the photo they sent the house had a similar front door to mine and was also number 1. I live in a cul-de-sac and 100 yds down the road is another cul-de-sac so I wallked down there and knocked at number 1 to ask them. They had indeed got it and the owner said he was upstairs when they knocked. By the time he'd got downstairs to the door the parecl was propped up, photographed and the driver had vanished! It was a piece of very heavy flat packed furntiture and I had to go and get the car and struggle to get it home. If he'd waited two minutes for an answer to his knock (or bothered to check the address properly) it would have saved me the hassle. They might be cheap but they're crap and I will never knowingly buy anything for delivery in future f I even THINK they're the courier.
For comparison Amazon are excellent and their van tracking is brilliant.
