Priced out?

I don't understand how they expect to claw back millions by cancelling the staff Christmas party and sacking the tea lady. If they just accepted they are a mid table team now and stopped spunking money around they could probably get themselves competitive again in 10 years
It's just what people like Catweazle do, save money wherever possible and pat themselves on the back for taking the 'tough' decisions

The Newcastle game tickets are over £70.00. I'm done at this point. The Club brugge game will be the last one for me n the nephew.
You would pick a ticket up on matchday for £30 if you went on the forums. If you no longer want to go / have better stuff to do then fair enough.

Shows the value of having a season ticket, my games average out at £25 in SS3 which in my opinion is fantastic value.
Problem is not everyone can fit into SS3, expecting my renewal will be over a grand and that’s when I’m seriously thinking of calling it a day .

I moved from level 1 about 5 years ago, saved £300 on my season ticket. It will be interesting to see what the prices will be in the expanded North Stand. A grand would definitely see me off as well.

Liverpool is currently sold out but more tickets due to be released on 3rd Feb.

Tickets are £77-82 in most areas. Cheapest £75!
Disgusting isn't it? No wonder the atmosphere is so often shit as people are often pissed off thinking this has better be good for that money before they even set foot in the stadium

It really is mate, some people are priced out because they can't afford the prices and some because they are not prepared to pay the prices, a lot of people have to factor in travelling plus food and drink.

Whichever is the case you can rest assured that not a single club including us could careless.

The club sees places like the Arena selling out with tickets at over £200 and then thinks they can charge more. If the daft sods didn't pay so much to see Paul McCartney we would still be at £50 for a ticket or less. What people pay to watch gigs is crazy.

Bang on the money ! I use to come and watch City regardless of who City were playing. Now I think do I want to pay 70quid to watch another park the bus team. Add on the travel, parking etc sadly I don't think it's worth it.
Now if it was two teams going head to head I would probably go, but the park the bus games do nothing to get me to commit to spending a whole weekend to watch 90 minutes of boring football

I’m just waiting for us to tie in cup schemes with a season ticket as more people stop them as prices rise and extra CL games. I’m out of the CL after this season so tonight could be my last one. I can’t be arsed with night midweek soulless matches. I’ll never have enough points for the final going forward anyway, if we do get there again I’ll just try the UEFA website like I did for Chelsea in 2021.

Not sure about that. Points went very low for the Inter Milan game.
