Much much better 2nd half. I like Stones in Midfield and he had a great game overall but leaving Nunes as RB was disastrous. Stones playing deeper 2nd half, with Nunes out wide right, bringing Bernie inside and Savinho wide left brought Phil inside too, made all the difference.

That and Savinho actually attacking them. He's some player. Him and Marmoush will be amazing together.

Savinho and Kovacic pulled us through. Wouldn't have been needed if Pep hadn't fucked us over with that stupid set up and starting line up though. At least he realised the problems and gave the right players the chance to put things right.

My first experience posting in the match thread (rather than just reading, as I’ve done for years), was actually not that bad, all things considered.

The team’s performance in the second half obviously helped calm things down a bit.

A bit of youth makes such a difference.
Marmoush with Doku and Savinho could be a nightmare for anyone.
What about Echeverri? Could he be as good as we hope.
