Phil and Bernardo aren’t the answer out wide against deep defences.

Almost but not quite as big a **** as that geordie journalist twat on sky later on who had a somewhat skewed one eyed opinion of proceedings. Apparently Brugge gave up after the own goal. Also changed the front 3, not because they were fucked, but because their manager was pragmatic in not wanting to concede a hatfull.

Anyone who thinks a side playing a 6-4 formation "played really well" can fuck off. They defended well but that's hardly surprising for any CL side with 11 men behind the ball 90% of the time.

Surprisingly everyone seemingly forgot about their 21 game unbeaten run after we errm, beat them and beat them well. How convenient.

Up the fucking blues.

Fuck Bayern and fuck los blancos. They're doable otherwise they'd be in the top 8 instead of slumming it with City in the lower echelons of the qualifying group.

I hope Pep/Gavrdiol/Nunes noticed how the blond was RIGHT ON TOP of Phil when he was trying to cross, not lamely throwing a despairing leg in the vague vicinity of the ball from 5m away. Constantly annoys me, that one.

But they won't have done :-(

The worry is it’s very obvious even to a lamen. That’s what worries a fair few blues, that and the fact it seems to keep happening.

Lessons to be learnt, again, from tonight's starting 11, player positions, team structure,tempo etc.

Half time changes were necessary due to the initial set up being so wrong,again.

Fortunately we have the new lads to come in, injured lads to come back and decent subs to richen the mix.

However that shouldn't mask the fact that there are obvious lessons to be learnt from that first half.

Munich for the final could be a good few days, it's a great place !!

I don't understand why Ric allows space to attention seeking, socially inadequate ignoramus’s who can't be bothered to go to the game.

1st half was poor.
0-1 was fair enough.
It was the '24 version of the team that came out in the 1st half.

2nd half, moving Foden of the wing and subbing off grandad seemed to have the desired affect and we turned into the city of '25.

I was delighted to see we have learned (again) how to kill the game off. 3-1 up and we pulled the shutters down.

Strange match. Can't really say any player had a standout match.

The away fans were in fine form.
Our side were quiet.

Win doesn’t mask glaring issues
Brugge is a weaker team

Real Madrid even at shittiest will tear this team with the hose old legs in midfield those who can’t see this are the ones who said Southampton Deserve to be up in the table bcoz we could barely hack a win against them
