He played well but there is clearly some beef with him and Pep and Grealish looks way off previous enthusiasm levels, I am certain he knows he's done with us.

100% correct, we are in the draw for the next round that's all that matters.

Neither Bayern or Madrid will look forward to playing us, we are still capable of beating anyone and with a couple more signings and the likes of Marmoush coming in, it will give us a huge lift.

Look at our depleted squad and who else could Pep have started, possibly Jack for Gundo. But at least Pep recognised his first half display was inept and took the necessary steps in replacing Gundo with the wonderful display from Savi.
Remember this Belgium team were unbeaten in any 20 games and after that second half display we thoroughly deserved to go through.

The confusion has been whether these PLAY-OFF GAMES are considered part of the Knockout Phase, because in the past, that started at the Round of 16.

Do you have a source that says the City vs Real/Bayern is part of the Knockout Phase?

The closest I’ve come is the inference from the statement that players can be registered in a CL squad a few days before the Play-Off games begin.

Has anybody seen a definitive ruling on whether UEFA consider the play-offs as part of the group stage?
If they don't specifically state as much, we should pop Mouchie and Bobb into the squad right now

You`re not kidding argyle. Way, way over the top negativity and yes that first half wasn`t the best and Pep recognised that and took the necessary steps to change it.
Some people are never satisfied, but its a forum and they have the right to disagree, but fuck me some of `em are clueless at times.

well it's definitely not the group stage. so the wording suggests they can be registered

I've stopped replying to them they are far too kneejerk and come over as ungrateful and far too entitled. Half time last night some posters were suggesting that it was best that Pep leave the club. Be very careful what you wish for.
