Too much holding on to the ball and directing traffic. Just pass quickly and often. All the defenders do it though. So i cant complain too much about him. But we need defenders on the ball less.
 
Back to his old back off until opponent shoots self.. The fucking opposite of what you need when under constant pressure. Fucking turning away from shots..Nasri called wants his shot blocking back
 
You know I should've seen it coming when he came on against PSG and his first move was not jump for a header that led to the third goal, he's not a defensive leader, only Dias is at this club and without him we are a complete mess as evidenced by today.

Who cares at this point ? it's not like we missed him based on this performance, he was also there when Spurs put 4 past us.
 
Like Walker, Gundogan and Akanji, they all peaked in the treble season and should have had a noble farewell that summer and left us to rebuild properly.
 
Put him in the 6 when Dias and Ake are fit because I can't watch the suicide midfield of Kova-Bernardo-and whoever the fuck else is in there anymore
 
Can’t be relied on. He’s been fantastic for us but along with Ake, needs to be written off when it comes to squad planning for next week year.

We have to do this imo even if they arent fit.

Khusanov is a better defender than Stones and Akanji.
 
Dias and Ake are our only proper defenders ,rest of them are good on the ball ,but are very passive .Hope to see Kushanov and Dias partnership soon

That probably is the better decision, but I hesitate at throwing Khusanov and Reis in there when they have Nunes at RB and whatever bullshit midfield gets put in front of them.
 
City fans love him cos he wore a blue cagoule. Spends far too much time on the ball, pointing and choreographing what he's about to do. Does my head in. Massively over rated

He looked dead on his feet second half-amazed he was kept on.
 
Great servant of the club but his days are numbered here.

He played a terrible pass for their first goal (yes, Akanji was at fault as well) and should have done better with his block for the second.

I’d prefer to see Khusanov starting now.
 
Love the lad but I wouldn't be too upset if it was his last season. His poor injury record makes him incapable of getting any real form and momentum, and I don't see how that's gonna improve now he's no spring chicken...
