I don’t really pay much attention to media tittle tattle but when speculation about whether Pep would extend or not reached fever pitch this guy was one of the potential successors being mentioned.

Surely not. Was that just made up press nonsense or have we dodged a future bullet here.

My take on it is this: because we’d recently announced that Hugo Viana was to become our new DoF, the morons in the British sports media put two and two together and made five.
