Very poor but a couple of signs of quality and very early days yet. He looked very confident coming into this but looked a little shocked at the end of the game so will be interesting to see how he responds
His corners were superb and we almost scored from them. That’s right, don’t write him off.not writing him off but he was gash today. very wasteful with the ball and barely put a foot right.
What do you mean San Diego or LA written all over him?KDB is watching his replacement play better in his first two games than Kev has been able to put together twice this season.
Hard to see him staying with Marmoush playing his current position, but if he’ll accept 20 mins here and there and an occasional game to rest Omar…and a 50% cut in his wages, then maybe.
Doubtful.
He’s got San Diego or LA written all over him!
That’s where KDB will be putting his feet up next season, now that Marmoush is playing second striker. What do you mean San Diego or LA written all over him?
The way we play now,.if I was an opponent of City, not ONE player would scare me. Not ONE!!I am sure Arsenal fans was more scared before the game from him than what he delivered. but same goes for Foden etc.
Ok.Maybe and he deserves it as Kev has more than done his bit.I thought you might be suggesting he was putting his feet up with a pay day in view next season. That’s where KDB will be putting his feet up next season, now that Marmoush is playing second striker.
one week of training soon knocked all that promiss out of himVery poor but a couple of signs of quality and very early days yet. He looked very confident coming into this but looked a little shocked at the end of the game so will be interesting to see how he responds
He’s not going to fill the boots of Kev the midfielder. But, Pep won’t play Kev there anymore, or at least for more than 15-20 mins.Ok.Maybe and he deserves it as Kev has more than done his bit.I thought you might be suggesting he was putting his feet up with a pay day in view next season.
Early days to think Marmoush could even start to try to fill Kevins boots but he does look promising to my eye.
Oh I didn’t know Kev plays 2 to Earling in a 4-4-2.Thanks.He’s not going to fill the boots of Kev the midfielder. But, Pep won’t play Kev there anymore, or at least for more than 15-20 mins.
Kev plays #2 to Erling in a 4-4-2.
I remember couple years ago we were heavily linked with Musiala and Bellingham to replace Kevin, and Guimaraes and Declan Rice to support Rodri, now we shop at the same store as Aston Villa. He’s not going to fill the boots of Kev the midfielder. But, Pep won’t play Kev there anymore, or at least for more than 15-20 mins.

You van say the same of Haaland, Foden, Savio, Doku, Nunez and Gvardiol.he will be selected vs Leyton, upfront likely to give Haaland a game off ad to get a goal under his belt.
not sure this deeper central role is the best for him. his pace cannot be used as well there vs teams sitting deeper. he will just end up waiting for the ball while Akanji,Ake, Stones passing between each other.
to get the best out of Marmoush we need to be a quicker team, attack quicker, but for that we need huge changes to the side. and 90% of our opponents wont be as naive as Maresca to try a sick high line and leave us space
