They’re always massively over priced. Get on SkyscannerYet again, the club aren’t bothering.
Just received this from our “travel partner” Sportsworld:
Good Afternoon David,
Unfortunately, we will not be operating a flight for this particular trip due to the low demand.
Kindest regards,
Lottie
What demand? You haven’t asked the question. Absolute joke
Which way we going ?Bit of a fucker if your cars in Edinburgh like :-)
I'm working on it, just have to keep Mikes snout out :-)Which way we going ?
True but it’s always direct which, at my age, makes it (almost) worth the extra ackers! They’re always massively over priced. Get on Skyscanner

We can get internal flights in Spain for cheap our Mike wants to go by train :-)Mr. Fly direct
Is the correct answer.Dear Lottie
The demand is there because of the short notice and people would be happy paying a little extra for a day trip with direct flights rather than messing around with four flights, two trains and a ferry. It’s that you lot can’t be bothered. Travel partner my arse.
Regards MCFC.

Thanks for your prompt reply Lottie, although I’m somewhat perplexed by the “low demand” statement.
Where has that information come from? I haven’t seen anything on official or non-official sites requesting statement of interest.
Please could you elaborate as I know plenty of fans who would be interested. We’ve just not been asked - as far as I’m aware.
Thanks
Indeed. As I said earlier in this thread the cost and availability of aircraft and crew at short notice, especially during half term week, will be the main factor. Also landing and handling charges at Madrid are not cheap due to it being such a massive international airport.Madrid away is a pain in the arse for them, this is why they aren't doing one.
Just book it and tell me how muchWe can get internal flights in Spain for cheap our Mike wants to go by train :-)
Where are you looking at staying?Just book it and tell me how much

Lol. That’s dedication!Ryanair via Tenerife looks decent
Init. Fly past Madrid for an extra 2 hours in the complete wrong direction only to then fly 2 hours back to Madrid. That is definitely commitmentLol. That’s dedication!
