Have we done enough in the transfer market?

Bobb’s completely unproven. He may come good but he may not. He had a magic moment and a couple of half decent games, people are putting way to much store in his ability.

He most certainly doesn’t fit an Alvarez shaped hole as some are suggesting.
In my opinion Bobb's potential is very high. Pre-season friendlies are usually low intensity games. If you blow hard you stand out. Bobb did stood out not by effort but in his technique and vision. In regard to the recent topic about whether that make Bobb world class, no it doesn't but it's why City sold Alvarez in my opinion.

Nah, dark clouds are still gathering above my head and there is no sliver of blue! At best we are moving sideways into unchartered territory that is nowhere closer to Pep way of playing football. But that's only me.
That’s the spirit, glad it is only you

If we get Stones, Dias, and Bobb back, and add Marmoush and Gonzalez that's 5/11 of a team. Arguably all go into the starting line up or would come on a subs.

only thing moving sideways is our passing atm ;-)

We'll see. On the pitch.
We will but you will go to the ground with some thoughts and expectations. Marmoush will gradually settle in and his potential is really high. I think Dias and Stones will make a big difference to our defence if we can get them fit.

Was just quoting Ruben.

For now yes. We've probably done the best we could in this window. Probably at least 2-3 required in the Summer though as I suspect we'll have a few departures.

We've done as much as we could I reckon. 3 first teamers and a couple of prospects.
As plenty have said there's still lots to do come the summer - some tough calls about to be made but that's the game isn't it

Ederson
Akanji, Dias, Stones, Gvardiol
Kovacic, Gonzalez
Foden, Marmoush, Savinho
Haaland

Ortega
Nunes, Reis, Khusanov, Ake (Lewis)
Gundogan, Bernardo
Bobb, Grealish, Doku (McAtee)
De Bruyne

It's looking better.

Swap Bernardo with Kovacic and that’s bang on

Finding replacement for KDB is the hardest. Player with great technique and great passing ability.Need to splash big on one of those

We won't be finding a 100% like for like, pretty much like David Silva leaving.
I guess we'll look at technical but with physicality this time around - seems to be the "en vogue" these days

I think it was our best window in a few years, over the next three windows its certain we will lose walker, KDB, gundo, and probable that we lose either or both goalies, stones, grealish, silva, and kova, 4 in now means we can replace like for like going forwards and with echeverri and a couple of youth players hopefully pushing on increase our squad size too, also this change over from aged 30 plus established players to a target age of 22 to 25 should reduce the wage bill considerably.
So if walker and gundo are first out the door a right back and centre mid in the summer should see us challenging for titles again :)

i think there is enough there to get us a top 4 place and possibly the FA Cup, i dont think there is enough for the CL but this is the start of the rebuild and the summer window should be interesting with who goes and comes in
