Black Sabbath last gig

Yes thought that was an odd one out there!

I saw Smashing Pumpkins at the NEC back in the 90s. At the end of the gig a clearly very wankered Billy Corgan stayed on the stage for about about 15 minutes talking about how great it was to be in Birmingham, the home of heavy metal, and how much he loved Black Sabbath. This was while the lights were up and the crowd was filtering out. Eventually some road crew came and took him away. It was very awkward.

That's one gig I'd love to go to. Having seen Lzzy Hale and Halestorm before they are top quality, David Dreiman is great and I like a fair bit of Gojira's stuff too, some may know them from the Olympic games opening last year.

Metallica, awesome as long as they only play upto load, Anthrax, Alice in Chains, Pantera, Stalker...whoa!

Great opportunity to see Jake E Lee too but obviously the big draw will be Sabbath themselves.

Mental lineup for a 1 day thing that. Everyone is going to have to play for about 20 minutes

Odd to have all those guys (Corgan, KK, Morello) from bigger bands playing solo. Slash and Duff McKagan playing separately? Whatever I guess, glad they're going to do a last show with Bill Ward.

Apparently going to be a lot os "supergroup" style collabs, Ozzy also playing a short solo set before the big reunion

I'm assuming they all can't be playing solo but collaborating together on some stuff?
Good point, maybe each of them comes out for a song or two with Sabbath. I can't see Ozzy doing a full set at his age and Bill Ward was struggling 15 years ago.

Ozzy Osbourne couldn't stand up without soiling his trousers and didn't know his own name about 30 years ago, how the fuck are Black Sabbath playing a show now?!

Sounds fuckin horrendous.

Was pretty decent only 10 years ago. Helps that he was never much of a singer in the first place, just suits the stuff he do.
Now I assume if it even takes place the nostalgia factor will do a lot of heavy lifting, but with those other bands on the poster as well no one can really complain getting to see Sabbath one last time. The line-up is incredible
