PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

I saw a funny Talksport clip yesterday with @slbsn and some other guy and it was pretty embarrassing. I can't find it and haven't seen it on here but Stefan was stating that if a massive risk is hanging over a club like City they won't increase the wage bill, tie Haaland down and bring new players in like they have. Straightforward stuff if you've even been in a boardroom. You manage any risk.

The balloon he was debating with was foghorning cliches like some geezer from Essex on a football forum. "City will just spend what they want" and all this nonsense and you could see the contempt in Stefan's eyes. This clown's football fan brain was unable to compute basic business.
They are just feeding their audience. Much respect to @slbsn , but they are not there for proper, informed debate, just listeners, clicks, and likes. They get those by being anti-City, and it's no more than that.

Saw that clip think a link has been on here or his Twitter.

The argument was that the new players will be on less we can sell players and Gundo and De Bruyne are out of contract.

It’s not like the new players are on nothing it’s still not clear who would leave. Gundo has auto extension. Haaland has just got a huge wage increase

Oh God that was it. "Maybe they are all on low wages". FFS. Stefan was actually looking at him like the idiot he clearly was.

I suppose he has to belike this to keep getting booked in the media. He's even quite gracious to Nick Harris, whom he appeared with on a podcast a while back. That was a conversation between one person who clearly knew what he was talking about and another who didn't, but who then behaved deplorably when it became clear what the general public perception of the discussion was.

On the other hand, I regard these people Stefan jousts with as cunts who come across to me as obnoxious enough to be fully deserving of that epithet, which is described by vocabulary.com "a contender for most offensive word in English". And as I post only on here, I can say to my heart's content that Jordan and Harris, along with many others in similar media roles, are cunts.
Another one for Damocles' book.

Was he called Darragh?

i love how this thread has posts along the lines of,
why the fuck does anyone listen to talksport!

and then goes on to give examples of what the presenters and guests say on there.

how do these posters know that if they don't listen?

You know having just listened to it again Darragh didn’t sound as bitter but he pissed me off about City trying to exhaust the process when it’s been explained numerous times why it takes so long.

I’d like to pull him on why he thinks this makes it an advantage for City when the waiting game strategy can swing back & forth. On a personal note I had a case that I felt was deliberately being dragged out or as my Solicitor explained, perfectly reasonable & normal process being followed. It was exhausting & expensive but then time is up, you have a hearing date & all evidence is in. Suddenly the swing is in the favour of those who believe they are right. I was right & they wanted to settle & suddenly after nearly 2 years I had the advantage. 90% settle by this point I’m told but City & EPL have seen it through to the conclusion, surely Darragh understands this.

I think the 115th dayof the year (when not a leap year) is 25/04

Surely that's the date to release the result. This year it is a Friday - we play Villa at home that weekend. Sky should immediately schedule that game for the Friday night :-)
