With new players no game including today’s is going to be a cake walk. Put our chances away and we win easily.

Don’t fancy our chances v Madrid but you never know.

Michael Brown is always very good on the radio. Not sure why they don't use him instead of clueless dinosaurs like Keown.

One thing I will say... although he only lasted 20 minutes. Nico just kind of "looked" like Rodri - in a way that nobody else in the team really does... hard to describe as there's an intangible quality to that kind of player. Even down to the great pass to Savinho that should have got us on our way.

Really hope his injury isn't serious. Think he could be brilliant.

Browsing on here, you wouldn't have thought so. Were we shite? Yes. Did we win? Yes. I'll take it. We've had more than our share of "we were shite, and lost" games this season. That derby defeat was like a dagger in the heart.

I just think we're all hoping to see signs we've turned the corner at long last and will finish the season strongly, sadly although there have been some signs we've improved a bit we're far from.our best still.
