With both VAR, as with FFP, they seems to change the rules in response to clamour and noise so that none of us understand them from one season to the next .Was watching rugby today and also highlights of India England in the cricket.
Several instances of where technology was used correctly by referees/umpires.
The cricket one is very good where an appeal can be made, incorrect first calls over ruled and players willing to accept the final decision . Similar in todays rugby.
In both sports the referees can explain the decision to the fans via microphones and TV screens.
Look at tomorrow nights superbowl and see how it should be fine.
The Premier league is a farce compared to other sports. Refeees , VAR officials and referees panel can't make up their mind on what are relatively a simple set of rules.
It's almost as if those in charge of the game can't run the game properly . Who'd have thought it ?
But don't worry, it's all City's fault .
