Glad he had a good game yesterday as well won't have to worry about him having to go back to his old job as assassin for hire !!!

Thought he had a very promising performance yesterday - great signs.
You can tell he’s had a few weeks training with first team. Feels like a player who will improve very quickly in a short space of time

It must be difficult for Pep to do a team talk and use words like execute, shoot, fire, kill the game, just in case the meaning is lost in translation!!

In a year or two the smiler will be a fan favourite.
I know there’s the odd dick around to prove the exception but one thing I like about footy fans is we will embrace a genuine guy as if they were born on the Kippax, regardless of nationality, race or anything else.

I wonder if it’s the same in other countries? Probably.

It's incredible how you can take to someone who can't speak your language and is completely unknown but already we have taken him and I can see him becoming a legend in the coming years.

Especially after just 110 minutes of football and one absolute howler, lol.

He looks about 12 but is hard as fuck, you’ve got to love it.

Rapidly becoming one of my favourite players already this lad.

I really want to see him and Dias given a good go as a CB pairing, get a bit of steel back in that defence. I feel the same as a lot on here, impossible not to like the lad, I can see him going on to great things for us.

There’s a bit of Zabaleta in him I think.

Seems a really honest down to earth lad who isn’t scared of getting stuck in and wants to do his best.

That’ll always go down well with the fans, especially in a defender.

We have lacked that aggression for some time(Dias apart) would love to see a midfield version of Khusanov in the CM.

Much better on his second outing.

The header fiasco versus Chelsea was unfortunate but that sort of thing happens even to the best. Subsequently,
Abdukodi was way off his game - far too tentative, hesitant and mistake prone due to the mindset stemming from his initial error.

Early days - but the guy shows lots of promise.
