Final straw was an American ad with Jim's dad from American Pie in it. How the fuck do the Yanks put up with so many ads?

Not sure the metric they are using to measure that, if it's viewing figures it won't be the biggest that would be the world cup but it would comfortably be in the top 5 maybe even third. The NFL is the most lucrative sports league in the world, with an aggregated value of approximately $163 billion an estimated annual revenue of over $20 billion.No offence but I still think it's a minor sport. Yet I've heard both the BBC and ITV the last few days refer to it bizarrely as the worlds biggest sporting event??!!

Always think it's annoying when footballers in the Prem are offside, but at least the ball is actually moving. How is anybody caught offside like that? Should be fined a week's wages.

With the possible exception of Haaland, I'd say Tom Brady is more well known worldwide than any of our footballers.
Just the same as I doubt 1% of Americans could name an English cricketer or rugby player.
