Half these players know they have no future at the club. But yet we still keep playing them after dropping stinkers every time they step onto the pitch.

Just play mcatee and the new lads. If we loose the fans will be more understanding. Build for the future. These players will only be better next season if we start playing them now.

I’m so disappointed with the lineup and I’m not one that is normally negative. But that team is uninspiring.
if you cant fathom out peps move with this starting 11then football isnt fot you mate

Trying to avoid an embarrassing twatting ……

Definitely a head scratcher or as I suspect, just a bullshit rumour.

Maybe Pep thought they might bench Rodrygo for a midfielder as they look too attacking with him, Mbappe, Vin Jr and Bellingham. But Carlo decided attack is the best defence, so Pep adjusted the team.

Because it’s a fucking awful lineup. At home to these cunts. Gone from being optimistic to being uninspired.
What have you seen from the players not in the starting XI in recent months other than delivering embarrassing results every other week that made you feel optimistic until you seen that they are on the bench?

Plenty of half 'n' wankers around the ground, and that has generated a philosophical question:
Is a half 'n' half scarf more or less of an abomination than the dark blue UEFA Champions League scarf?

That team is good enough to win the game...IF they perform to their maximum ability. That means getting in the Madrid players faces, not letting them settle, hitting a blue shirt with every pass, taking our chances, fighting for every ball and getting the fans on the edge of their seats. Up the blues...keep the faith.
Ping-ping-ping tempo when we need it. Nice and steady when we need to control. That team's got all of that I think

I never usually flap over a starting lineup but that’s even got me scratching my head.
Hopefully it’s a Pep masterclass and not the shitshow it looks like.

Yeah that's not the point I'm making. It's that Pep hasn't trusted him to get any minutes against Chelsea, Brentford, Arsenal etc so it's a surprise to start him against Madrid.
Yep, understood the point you were making about that. I think I was saying that maybe regardless of that, Pep has decided what’s more important than that is Jack’s previous big game experience and mindset and his knowledge of what works against this particular opponent. To that extent, I don’t see it as a surprise, but I take your point too.
