We struggle against every team at present, tonight's result shouldn't have come as any surprise, it's just the shit manner in which it happened. No more Gundogan, Bernardo in this team and Kev used a lot more sparingly, they're finished.
Marmoush has to play centrally, stuck out on the fucking left wing when he came on zero chance to impress. Pep will probably mould him into a right full back before the season ends

Game went to pot the minute Rico came on.

He's absolute garbage. Went walkabout for their first and the third, I've seen women's footballers go in harder and win that.

Eddie didn't cover himself I'm glory either rushing out like a crazed lunatic.

We are miles away from competing at the top again. Absolutetly miles away!!!

We spend up north of nearly 200 million and he rolls out Rico and Gundo.

Predictable as I feared in my pre match post and it gives me absolutely no pleasure to be proven right. The happy clappers ( One in particular ) can give me stick and call.me negative but I've supported this club for over fifty years. I love them but I don't let my love for them cloud my judgment and say how I think a game will go. No amount of staying positive and cheer leading will give us energy in midfield, stop us making awful.mistakes, miss chances or improve our physicality or mentality.

Any win we have had this season we have scraped except against an awful Ipswich twice and Salford. Even bang average sides are creating chances against us game after game. We can't hold onto a lead and even worse if we do concede we often collapse completely. If tonight's game would have gone on another twenty minutes it would have ended up 5-2 to Madrid.

Sure in flashes we look.like the treble winners we were but that's about it, flashes. It's just not enough at the top level. A massive rebuild is needed in the summer and that's not including the players we've just signed. I pray they prove their worth but nothing is guaranteed, they're young and for the future. We need at least two proven world class signings. More worrying for me is our mentality or lack.of it. How has a team who were renowned for their grit and fight become so fragile? How???

Finish the season now. If we scrape into the top four it will be an unexpected bonus but I must admit it's looking unlikely. It's not negativity it's cold harsh reality and no amount of happy clapping will change that.
 
Thought we played well until the legs went. Thought Stones, Dias and Ake did well considering they've had next to no football. Shame about Jack going off. Everything just conspiring against us this season. I'd never slag Ederson off he was colossal in our CL final win. We need some big changes in the Summer and I'm sure Pep will sort it. Push for top 5 and the FA Cup. Would be a great season of we get both. Chins up Blues.

6 shots vs their 13, 10 vs 19 if include blocked shots.

we failed just as big in attacking as in defending to be fair here.

Bernardo, Savinho, KDB added nothing in attacks sadly. you cant afford that in a tight CL game.

Formations.. ect..

If players are fucked move them on.
If players are tired on 60 sub em..

If the oppo are cutting through us change it tactically..
