How is this Cambaiso of the ball because if he is another one who is soft and shit what's the fucking point! We need a no nonsense 6 foot plus right back who is good on the ball and who is fast!

He is fkin left back who can play both sides! you know how this one will go again! „ he can play here and there „ but not good enough at any given position. Not a 65M player. Monaco literally has 2 players who would do better same with Newcastle. There are enough good RB out there who would better than Lewis or Nunes we just refuse to buy them because they ain’t „ pep players „ whatever that is ( probably not CB)
 
We need to be ruthless. Rip it up and start again, 6-7 outgoings are needed. People say we shouldn’t do too many changes at the same time, but there’s so many players in the squad right now that should be moved on. Both players that has more to give but wants out (Ederson, Bernardo), players that are past it (Gundo, Walker, KDB) and squad players (Nunes, Grealish)

We should build the team around the core of Dias, Gvardiol, Rodri, Foden and Haaland. Keep Ortega, Kovacic (CM, not DM), Akanji and one of Stones/Ake as squad players/backups. Most of them would probably be gone in 2026. I’d be fine keeping Grealish around as a squad player, but I think he will go

I’m also expecting big things from Khusanov, Nico, Bobb, Doku, Marmoush and Savinho next season. The main areas we need to strengthen is GK, RB and midfield

Ederson -> new GK
Walker -> new RB
Ake or Stones -> C.Doyle
Gundo -> Nico Gonzalez
Bernardo -> new CM
Nunes -> O’Reilly
KDB -> ??

Chevalier(GK), Livramento(RB) and Baleba (CM) would be my picks. 17 non-HG if that was the case

Hardest position to fill will be AM. Can’t see us renewing KDB, which still leaves us with Foden and Echeverri, but Echeverri probably needs another couple years and Foden is nowhere near as creative as KDB. I think that both Bobb and Marmoush (Alvarez role) could get minutes as an AM, but more of a short term solution until Echeverri can play a part or we sign someone else.

Musiala seems to be extending his contract, Wirtz as well with a release clause that probably means Madrid/Bayern in 2026. Outside of those two there isn’t really many alternatives that can come in and do a job straight away. Both the club and Viana seem to like Baturina, but he wouldn’t be a very big upgrade on Echeverri currently. Has some similarities to KDB and Wirtz, but going from Dynamo Zagreb to City is a huge step. Baena is probably the closest but often plays wide and struggles to impact the games to the extent of KDB/Wirtz/Musiala etc. Good passer and a good finisher, but not much of a ball carrier which is something we are in desperate need of and he doesn’t have the crossing ability or long range threat of KDB. I overall think Baena is a little too limited. Market for AMs are very slim at the moment, I’m hoping for a big impact from Echeverri as he has many of KDBs qualities

I'm about the same think it'll be Kova over Silva gone (i think could go either way) but i do have about 6 ish coming and going. if we can. (and i have Jack going just cant see a way back for him)

Not sure doing a Chelsea is what we need.

We need some experience, and offloading all senior players would be a big mistake. I would like us to keep Stones, Bernardo and Ake, but it also depends on who we bring in.

Personally I wouldn’t shed a tear if we replaced Kovacic and Akanji with 2 signings on top of the other outgoings I listed, but I think 6-7 (8 with Walker who’s already gone) outgoings is the maximum number we can let go. Forgot to put Grealish in the outgoings list, but not sure he’d be replaced with Marmoush coming in and Mubama to potentially become a squad player

I take your point but Ake and Stones are seldom fit and Bernardo has been keen to leave for a few seasons now.

Experience for what exactly?

Agree except I’m unconvinced by Bernardo and think it’s time for him to go.
Nunes should never have been brought here. He’s crap and has no place in our team imo
