Ideally keep but it’s fitness dependent:
Stones, Ake

Sell them all.

There is no limited role for the likes of Bernardo or Akanji, their wages and age demand starting spots and the likes of Reis and Khusnov will forever be stuck at 5th choice +

Stones and Ake can't put two 90mins together, thats simply not good enough.

This is how I see our squad at the moment.

Players to buy: Wirtz/ Baéna , Vanderson/ Livramento, whatever CM is good apparently. + GK( Suzuki). Chevalier is PSG bound sadly.

1 of Akanji/Stones and Aké has to leave at least so Reis and Khusanov can gain more game time next season. Sadly all 3 are good and valuable since Akanji could also play RB while Stones and Aké are good but always injured. Only 1 of Stones and Aké can stay in my opinion.

We need some seniorplayers, can’t rely entirely on youth if we want to challenge next season. We need players who knows how to win. Dias, Erling, Foden is not enough.
I agree though that we need to ship a lot of players, but not all at once.

Rather tend to agree. The question, then, is what happens to team morale and player performance when it becomes apparent that extending contracts is no longer the given it once was.

Hopefully, that was more of a gentleman's agreement rather than contractually binding.

I agree with the sentiment but it's still going to be tough. The club has enjoyed unprecedented success by extending and expecting loyalty from a relatively small group of players. Once that nucleus breaks up, it's going to be difficult.

every one the bar McAtee will be 32+ when the contract ends. If they were all in one summer i could see an extensions or two offered. Staggered as is, plays into the rebuild nicely i expect.

2 or 3 will go in the summer, going on about it now is pointless. Relax enjoy the rest of the season . Look forward to builing a new team next season. Or don’t spend 6 months worrying about it.

Fatigue isn't going to go away for all these 30+ players with several hundred games in their legs is it. We are playing more games than ever. Injuries the same, this isn't some freak occurence. The likes of Ake and Stones have probably had an injury of some sort for the past two years.

Maybe Bernardo can get himself a good few months off this summer and be the bernie of old, oh no we are flying to the middle east for a tournament and then play a premier league game three weeks later. Maybe he will get to see his pals in Lisbon for a night before hes back in Manchester.

Only one I could see as a slight possibility is Stones if we the likes of Khusanov and Reis are viable first team options. He could then manage his game time.

Could see every single one of those players, bar Stones as above and not many teams keen to take a punt, going this summer.

Didn’t say that we can discuss which players might go which might come in. But saying stuff like get rid of all over 30 players in meaningless because it isn’t happening. One because it isn't practical Second its important the squad has players there who know what it takes to win things when it gets tough

I never said get rid of all over 30 players.

When the tough has got going this season, many have gone into hiding. Hows that working out for us so far, on course for the worst season under Pep?

Pep had zero issues with ripping out parts of other title winning teams, I hope he has the heart for it again.

Will be an expensive summer no doubt. Hope to see some decent money coming in.

Ederson, McAtee, Akanji, Nunes and Grealish hopefully around 25m a piece roughly. Bernardo 20m, Ake 15m, Phillips 10m?, Kabore + JWE 10m altogether, Walker 4m, KDB and Gundo on a free. Perrone and Bah to go on loan for another 12 months. Could be looking at over 150m in sales. Stones and Kovacic to stay another 12 months as squad players
