Agreed.... how do we do that? The best way to stop is to ensure it becomes very clear to Russia that they can’t win.

He’s more a fat mango slug. A Jabba the Hutt of privilege.
Christ you're a lost cause. Along with that other plank who keeps defending the indefensible.Gottcha, you're up for escalating the war and abandoning any prospect os talks to end it.
Well, we keep getting told the planet is getting a bit overcrowded don't we?
Genocide is genocide no matter where in the world it occurs.
Im not sure i understand the point of these questions... Are you saying i should care more about Gaza than Cameroun or Nigeria because American government is more involved there? Is the civil war in South Cameroon funded by America?
Does America supply weapons to enable genocide there?
“We” can start by not having the leader of the most powerful country in the NATO alliance not try to surrender on Ukraine’s behalf and threaten to withdraw support from them. Then take it from there.Agreed.... how do we do that?
You're excellent at describing the problem and I don't disagree but.... how are you going to achieve what your objectives are if there are to be no negotiations? The only realistic option available is to continue and/or escalate the bloody battles which I'd like to believe nobody wants to see.Christ you're a lost cause. Along with that other plank who keeps defending the indefensible.
It's quite simple, Russia invaded a sovereign country at Putin's command. He is a war criminal, he has committed war crimes; he doesn't get to sit down at a negotiation table and walk away with something that isn't his after slaughtering thousands of innocent civilians. And if you think appeasement will stop him going for more; well then unbury your head from the sand.
Okay escalation it is then.... just come out with it.“We” can start by not having the leader of the most powerful country in the NATO alliance not try to surrender on Ukraine’s behalf and threaten to withdraw support from them. Then take it from there.
Ok, surrender it is then…. just come out with it.Okay escalation it is then.... just come out with it.
America is supposed to be the most powerful country in the world with the most powerful, strongman President in the world. If that’s true, why doesn’t he tell Putin to get his troops out otherwise the USA will get even more involved supporting Ukraine, crayoning more of those sanctions to further freeze Russia out?“We” can start by not having the leader of the most powerful country in the NATO alliance not try to surrender on Ukraine’s behalf and threaten to withdraw support from them. Then take it from there.
No, negotiation is not surrender. Maybe full on sanctions, totally isolate Russia would be an option to consider but they haven't been that effective so far have they? Is there room to escalate them further?Ok, surrender it is then…. just come out with it.
I don’t get it, why is America shitting itself and giving Putin exactly what he wants?
There isn’t any negotiation if Ukraine is not involved in the discussions. Why don’t you understand that? No, negotiation is not surrender. Maybe full on sanctions, totally isolate Russia would be an option to consider but they haven't been that effective so far have they? Is there room to escalate them further?
The best way to stop is to ensure it becomes very clear to Russia that they can’t win.
Well the best way would be for Russia to fuck off home and pay for the rebuilding of the Ukraine towns and villages it has completely destroyed. Now if mango shitgibbon starts his negotiation at that point, I'd consider changing my opinion of the fat war mongering ****But they did invade and they are currently fighting a bloody war. The question is how do we stop it, not how do we not start it.
But Ukraine is involved. Zelenskyy has said as much, he HAS had conversations with Trump. There isn’t any negotiation if Ukraine is not involved in the discussions. Why don’t you understand that?
Let me try a hypothetical on you for size. Suppose a judge somewhere decides he wants to rule on whether Donald Trump can have JD Vance as his Vice President on the grounds that JD may not be married to an American and thus this might constitutes a potential conflict of interests for the Country. Based on that claim the judge orders a temporary injunction barring JD as Vice President until the Judge is able to have a full hearing on the facts...No hyperbole, unless of course you do not understand what the rule of law is.
Do you think the open defiance of the court’s ruling to suspend Trumps orders on USAID is not the deliberate breakdown of the rule of law? Just the beginning……..
Correct. That's not what Trump has in mind, Trump only understands power, Ukraine is weak and has nothing Trump wants, Russia is strong and undoubtedly has something he wants.
Trump wants a global settlement along the lines of the Yalta conference at the end of the 2nd World War where the great powers carved up the post war world. Trump is happy for Russia to take chunks of Ukraine, maybe China to take Taiwan, while he covets Greenland, the Panama Canal and threatens Canada.
He sees Palestine purely in terms of power, Israel has won this war, Palestinians are weak, they have nothing Trump wants except the real estate they presently live in, their political aspirations mean nothing, they're too weak for them to be even acknowledged. Egypt and Jordan are hooked on the Yankee Dollar and can be bullied.
That's how Trump sees the world.
Who knows what his opening gambit would be? If there is an opening gambit that would be progress.Well the best way would be for Russia to fuck off home and pay for the rebuilding of the Ukraine towns and villages it has completely destroyed. Now if mango shitgibbon starts his negotiation at that point, I'd consider changing my opinion of the fat war mongering ****
We know he’s had a discussion with Trump. He’s obviously trying to butter him up to try and stop him from withdrawing support. That isn’t a negotiation of terms with Russia. But Ukraine is involved. Zelenskyy has said as much, he HAS had conversations with Trump.
U.S. President Donald Trump held a phone conversation with President Volodymyr Zelensky on Feb. 12.
"Just spoke with Donald Trump. Long conversation. About the possibilities of achieving peace. About our willingness to work together. About our technological capabilities, including drones and other modern manufacturing," Zelensky said following the call.

Trump holds talks with Zelensky following his 1.5-hour-long conversation with Putin
"The conversation went very well. He, like President (Vladimir) Putin, wants to make peace. We discussed a variety of topics having to do with the war, but mostly, the meeting that is being set up on Friday in Munich, where Vice President JD Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio will lead the...kyivindependent.com
