Fuck me. Are some people really being precious about a banner?

It was a show of support to a MANCHESTER CITY PLAYER who is currently named the best player in world football.

Arrogance to do a banner? Fuck them. They didn't show up to the ceremony because they knew they weren't going to win. That's arrogance. It's also disrespectful to the club, football and Rodri himself.

If anything, the banner should've stretched the whole of the East Stand and be made bigger so that little fucker could see it even clearer.

Agree with this. I liked it about 80% but thought it was a little 'small time' for about 20% also.

Yes they were c#nts for not turning up, but we're better than them in that respect, no need to lower ourselves.

I actually agree with your sentiment. The banner didn't work for me when I first saw it. Each to their own and I won't slag those who like it. Personally stuff like that doesn't sit well with me as it has a hint of that '34 years' wank, but others will love it. That's football.

Thought the banner was brilliant. People trying to link it to the result missed the point, it was our opportunity to remind everyone of Madrid's shitty behaviour. No one will hold them to account for it, and they'll suddenly start accepting the Ballon D'or's credibility again if one of their player's wins it next year.
