Probably the same thoughts with me. I imagine it the other way around. If they had done a banner saying how Rodri didnt deserve his award I would expct our team to play out of their skin. I mean that is what happens. End of the day though, Pep didnt mind, Rodri liked it, RM wont dare do the same to us because they know it will raise our game, so free hit, but we paid for it already imo.
 
Would have worked if we’d unfurled it in the away end tonight having been 3-6 up on aggregate.

In the end it fell a bit flat and meant nowt since they knocked us out.

Think we should just stick to being pro-City instead of taking digs at others, from now on. Beat them on the pitch and then take the piss, don’t take the piss and then limply get beat.

No I agree with the banner fuck Madrid. Boycotting the awards cause their soft **** player didn’t win. They are the most ego filled team in history. The performance annoyed me tonight, as for getting knocked out in Europe? I was more arsed about losing to spurs in the carabao cup.

1 thing i will say about them tonight , bellingham when interviewed was very respectful of us again ,,I thought he was a 1st class cock. But actually I'm.starting to warm to him

I think he is growing up. Notice he didn't roll around in either game. Prepared to give him some slack as he played well in both games I suppose.

Reminds me of a few years ago Hearts were looking like relegation certainties.

Hibs had a relegation party at our .. fancy dress streamers banners the whole shebang!
Hearts won the game Hibs went into freefall and got themselves relegated.

The banner was a rightful middle finger to a club that thinks so highly of itself that it boycotted an awards ceremony that their star player didn't win.

The same club that runs programmes on its TV channel highlighting all the decisions any particular referee gives against them to arouse suspicion of a fix the next time they have that ref in a game.

They think they're a gift to football. They can fuck off.
