Just came across this Gabrielle Marcotti fella.
Shouts more than Jim White that I didn't think was possible.
Don't think he likes us.
Is discussing our match against Madrid with a man called Juls.
Gab, as he calls himself, is dropping the Grealish is shite , 130 charges etc.
He is gone straight into my top 10 dislikeable know feck all "pundits".
It'll take something to knock Eamonn Sweeney off the top spot though.

Most famous for his sycophantic paean to Adnan Januzaj

It wasn’t unfortunately. It was a chap called Kevin Garside

My favourite is Januzaj. This article remains unparalleled

“The kid has a Pythagorean awareness of angles and dimension and a left foot that blends art with precision. With each game he plays, Januzaj lightens by increments Moyes' load by removing the urgency to resolve the Rooney conflict in a way that might be detrimental to United.”

Truly magnificent.

Mainoo as the new Seedorf has potential though.

Patrick Barclay, The Evening Standard, 7 October 2013...

"It was as if Adnan Januzaj had decided to get his Marco van Basten moment over early, in order to concentrate on the rest of his career; even at 18, he has that deadpan look of utter mastery.
The title of the location — the Stadium of Light — was a nice touch too, for young Adnan is going to be one of those players who can, whatever the weather, throw open our curtains on a glorious spring day.
In this sense he may already be tentatively compared with Lionel Messi. He is hundreds of goals, thousands of dribbles and quite a few trophies short in terms of achievement but his natural attributes are almost up there with the very best.
He lacks only a devastating burst of speed and, even if that does not come with time and training, he can render it negligible by moving in from the flank, as he did to devastating effect on Saturday. Januzaj will surely become a No 10 in the Mesut Ozil mould. Indeed, it seemed Manchester United had found an instant answer to Arsenal’s acquisition when the 18-year-old equalised with a left-footed subtlety reminiscent of Ozil’s goal against Napoli.

But Januzaj then emulated Van Basten’s volley in the 1988 European Championship final. What next? A slalom in the style of Maradona? It’s just as well for Premier League defenders that, due to the international break, none has to face Januzaj until Southampton arrive at Old Trafford on Saturday week."

Wow. Never read that one before. Who knew Januzaj was Van Basten reborn?!

I was responding to the Pythagoras comment, which was Garside.

Someone else [petrusha knows] describes The Guardian's football "writers" as a bunch of racist, xenophobic, Islamophobic, pseudo-intellectual KFA cunts who are so far up their own backsides you can see their eyes shining just behind their tonsils.

I'm not sure if I can guess who this person might be. However, the opinion is so demonstrably valid that they must be a respected and extraordinarily wise commentator on the matters at hand.

I'll give you two more views of Marcotti and Eamonn will be checking his rear-view mirrors.

Daily Dipper after the verdict.
The local evening paper (which is available in the morning) is running a similair, possibly the same story.
