The kids are alright
Pep trust in them
Pep trust in them
I’d say old style in that he likes to get stuck in,but you’re right he seemed very comfortable on the ball today.A new style defender. Incredibly comfortable in the ball with a lovely touch. I’m officially excited by him.
The other thing I noticed about Nico was his leadership. In his first real outing for City, he was very vocal in telling players around him where to position themselves & kept geeing up his team mates & the crowd.Thought Nico was the enabler of our excellent play, today.
Filled the Rodri roles extremely well, with calm on the ball, excellent positioning, and passing over the top that caused them to completely change their system for the second half.
Can’t wait for Rodders to be back so they can play together in midfield.
I’ll raise you an EcheverriI know it's only one game, but we might be building one of the best young squads in world football. Haaland, Savinho, Marmoush, Foden, Doku, Nico, Khusanov, Gvardiol, Lewis - and we still have Bobb to return and Reis to play! Then we also have Mcatee and Nico O'Reilly showing flashes that they can play at this level.
A couple more signings in the summer and we'll be challenging for the title next season. I hope we keep playing this kind of starting eleven for the rest of the season, it's exciting to see a new generation of city players coming through.
Judging by this unfortunate still that appeared on my FB feed, Goldbridge looks like he's having a wank (probably over his love interest Rasmus "Poundland Haaland" Hojlund) and he's just on the vinegar stroke when his missus walks in the bedroom.Goldbridges Mrs is 100% fuckin the gardener.
The little weasel.
100% a cuckold little worm.

And I think one or two from the Academy May have a shout.I’ll raise you an Echeverri
He was excellent. Comfortable on the ball, fast as lightning, covered well, tough battler, passed through the press. I’m getting giddy. I think he’s going to be an integral part of the next great City team.Didn’t watch the game how did the Uzbek lad play ? Wgat a victory and has some on send gundo kdb and Bernie shoukdnt all be on the pitch .
Yeah, almost from the first whistle it was very encouraging. He wanted the ball at every opportunity, and was ordering his team mates about. He certainly wasn’t shirking responsibility and looked every inch a City player from the off.The other thing I noticed about Nico was his leadership. In his first real outing for City, he was very vocal in telling players around him where to position themselves & kept geeing up his team mates & the crowd.
We seemed so much more assured with him at No 6 with the old Dog beside him. Aside from a couple of wayward passes, this was an excellent display from Speedy.
Thanks for the heads up, will definitely be watching that instead of MOTD tonight. The whole 90 is on Sky at 8.30
Yes, but you know that Pep will revert to the geriatrics of KDB, Bernardo and sideways Grealish. The answer gor any chance at Madrid is slapping him in the face, yet I am certain that he'll ignore it.This front 4 could shock at the Bernabeu
I know this is all about Savinho. But. The way Nico battled for the ball there is exactly what we’ve missed this season. Gundo and Kova get dispossessed like that and it’s been creating counters against us. Time after time this season.
And here comes stefan of the post match thread ;)Easy to get carried away by one performance, and we’ll almost certainly get brought back down to earth by Madrid on Wednesday, but that was by far the most encouraging display of the season.
Felt like the new signings were integral to that, and gave the team a renewed energy and purpose. Hope it wasn’t just a flash in the pan, as today gave a glimpse into the future of this side, and for once this season it was a genuine cause of optimism.
First thing needed as a CM, good communication skills and to constantly be bossing players into correct positions. Looked very assured for his first 90 minutes at the club. The other thing I noticed about Nico was his leadership. In his first real outing for City, he was very vocal in telling players around him where to position themselves & kept geeing up his team mates & the crowd.

Grealish started the game really well midweek.Yes, but you know that Pep will revert to the geriatrics of KDB, Bernardo and sideways Grealish. The answer gor any chance at Madrid is slapping him in the face, yet I am certain that he'll ignore it.
