Chelsea offered around 25 this window

If Pep give him more minutes till the end of the season, his value will reach 40.

I hope he sign new contract and stay, the boy has all the ingredients to succeed.

The very fact he's being selected for this type of game, even at left back, should tell us enough. I see this season as a sort of apprenticeship for him. A test of character. Patience. Personality. I would imagine it has as much to do with his attitude, the way he carries himself around the squad, training and application etc. as it does how well he performs at left-back against, say, Leyton Orient. Pep knows it. Nico knows it. He's got it. It is obvious. He knows he's got it. And he's not afraid to show it. A thoroughbred.

They all knew it apparently until they left. If pep bought him from somewhere else he would play more.

Two more start this season for the first team and he matches what he started in the EDS last season. Think people have forgotten this is kid is practically just out of the U18s and not the U21s.

Showing more than enough to be kept around. Massive step up in difference and he's taken it well enough especially after the injury factored in as well.

I thought he had a good second half. Wasn't prepared to be intimated by Orient's physical approach and looked up for that side of the game. Feel like some of our players don't like it when things turn physical and the ref is of the more lenient variety. I hope Nico gets more opportunities.

I think he is in is actual position. Even though neither he nor many or our fans know it yet.

He is a World Class left back in the making but at best a very good Central Midfielder
I think he can be a utility player for us and do both.

The reason for the CM suitability is his physicality and his finishing ability.

He is also a good passer.

But the one downside, he may never overcome, is his 1st touch will never be like silky-ilkay levels.

But the rest is a worth tradeoff.

For most teams, I would disagree. But for a player to be Gvardiol’s understudy in this City side, Nico has the perfect set of attributes

I think he's injured?

Don't see him in training videos ahead of Madrid and not in official squad.
