Single issue voters were always going to be an issue in the last election.I think quite a lot of the people are very culpable, after all they knew exactly what they were voting for didn’t they.?
And quite a lot of the people seem very happy with what he is doing, legal or not, both at home and abroad.
Musk, god bless America.The Pledge
"I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."
You will note its a pledge of allegiance to the flag and the republic - NOT to the President - therefore I'd say unless he is able to change the constitution his office is subordinate to the state and the constitution so running for a 3rd term is to stage a coup.
In any event he will be almost 83 at that time - 5 years older than Biden was when he was elected as the oldest Pres. He will be lucky to be alive at that stage and in any event he is surrounded by lick spittles and traditionally when a leader gets old and infirm at one or more of them will fancy their chances and turn back stabber
My guy :)put it down as a nailed on certainty if he lives that long
you think being able to lie and incite violence against a particular religion, colour or gender through those lies and not be held accountable for that is ok? Really? Its okay you feel that way. But objectively, there seems to greater freedom of speech in the U.S.
I think we've gotten it right here.
It is appointed on the public appointments rules. Our legal system does not encompass the idea that you have to elect public officials like judges etc for them to be legit. Indeed, campaigning for such posts is verboten both to candidates and politicians.Where dies the local prosecution service gets its powe from?
I doubt he'd engage in it or think it's okay, but he voted for a candidate he knew specifically and factually would encourage more of it. But it's okay as long as other "problems" get solved.you think being able to lie and incite violence against a particular religion, colour or gender through those lies and not be held accountable for that is ok? Really?
OK well I hope for your sake that one day they don't come for you
None of those are hate crimes, because none of those are crimes. So you are free to say themWheeeeeeeeeee…down the slippery slope we go!
If I say a transgender woman isn’t a woman, is that a hate crime? If I tell her she can’t compete in female sports? If I tell her the only “real” women have a different chromosomal make up that he/she does? Where’s the line in me making a point? Where is that one step too far? If I say he/she still looks like a man or that she looks “butch” for woman?
Cuntgpt!take it up with chatgpt :)
along with Chicago, you've missed the point. First of all a crime has to have been committed (or potentially committed) before it can be a hate crime. So free speech up to the point of inciting violence (for example) is not affected, other than by good manners and common decency anyway. In short, you can be a **** up to a point"Any offense perceived by the victim or any other person to be motivated..."
Right there in the definition lies the problem. For all practical purpose, you don't have free speech whenever the government decides you don't.
thats probably a better link than the chatgpt definition I posted, very similar but without the term "perceived" which seems to have ruffled a few feathers.Hate crime | The Crown Prosecution Service

Worth saying for someone to be prosecuted they’d need to have committed a crime in the first place that then is judged to be a hate crime.
It seems you haven't read my post on the difference between Free speech in both countries.you think being able to lie and incite violence against a particular religion, colour or gender through those lies and not be held accountable for that is ok? Really?
OK well I hope for your sake that one day they don't come for you
I've come to the conclusion that it's pointless engaging with them as they voted for him so their option is next to worthless. They are directly responsible for Ukraine being thrown to the wolves and making Europe somewhat less safe, So fuck them and their useless fucking options. It's staggering that there's folk that don't think he's a ****
Ironically they too are cunts
I think we define government differently then.. i'd consider that the government. It is appointed on the public appointments rules. Our legal system does not encompass the idea that you have to elect public officials like judges etc for them to be legit. Indeed, campaigning for such posts is verboten both to candidates and politicians.
Enjoy the game. We'll reconvene after :)along with Chicago, you've missed the point. First of all a crime has to have been committed (or potentially committed) before it can be a hate crime. Incitement of violence is prohibited.
I think we define government differently then.. i'd consider that the government.
