Asking Khusanov to provide width is just a bit baffling. He's not Gvardiol. The 2 old uns in midfield have performed as to be expected against a younger, more energetic midfield. Savinho at false 9 is just mad. Think this has been a bit of a miss from Pep.

what’s the past 5 years got to do with anything? They obviously weren’t going to last forever, how fucking stupid. To especially neglect the midfield for a Pep side of all managers. That’s showing ambition when it’s too late! How they thought Savinho and Gundogan was enough was beyond laughable.

Had we discarded Kev, Bernie and Stones at the start of the year I’m sure you’d have been the first to call the club a circus. There clearly was no indication that the decline of so many players would happen so quickly but unfortunately it happened and here we are. It’s not ambition, it’s a misjudgement which I am confident the club will address in time for the start of next season. In the meantime time there’s no choice but to suck it up!

I wasn't expecting anything tonight.. played out as expected. Just sad to see how much we have lost our way and lost any desire.. it aint magically coming back. I hope we do get a 60 pt deduction and pep takes on tge challenge as this season the whole set up's been woeful. Poor plannjng no tactics, no fight..just mediocre stuff all round. Im seriously worried about the weekend... so sad
