And quite a lot of the people seem very happy with what he is doing, legal or not, both at home and abroad.

Sadly, the “most” to whom you are talking aren’t here, don’t read news, but sit in their lounger watching Faux News while eating their dinner and quaffing their beer! The other part of “most” stand to make BILLIONS from cozying up to Putin and are happy as a clam!

So, as it relates to foreign policy, there are the “ferners are bad and we want them to stay where they are (the “I know nothings”)” and the “there’s so much money to be made, why are we in a Cold War with Russia?” gazillionaires!!

The vast majority of people reside in the massive gap between those two extremes!

You will note its a pledge of allegiance to the flag and the republic - NOT to the President - therefore I'd say unless he is able to change the constitution his office is subordinate to the state and the constitution so running for a 3rd term is to stage a coup.

In any event he will be almost 83 at that time - 5 years older than Biden was when he was elected as the oldest Pres. He will be lucky to be alive at that stage and in any event he is surrounded by lick spittles and traditionally when a leader gets old and infirm at one or more of them will fancy their chances and turn back stabber

I reckon his endgame in Ukraine is clear now. Allow Putin to keep all the Ukrainian land he's taken so far, with zero guarantee of security for Ukraine afterwards.

Then In the next few years, Russia under the guise of a supposed settlement will be given the time to rebuild it's military before it goes again. Definitely in Ukraine, and probably the Baltic countries as well.

What we are seeing, is the greatest betrayal from one individual to an entire country in our lifetimes. I get the feeling that this isn't the work of a madman but it's happening by design.

You couldn't have put a KGB agent into the Whitehouse and be any more pleased with his work so far, when it comes to Ukraine and causing confusion and destabilisation among Americas traditional allies.
