Only Dias and Khusanov anywhere near the standards required in any individual performance in a city shirt.

Valverde best player on pitch again imo. Does his job superbly.

I’m hurt because I just can’t stand Vini or Rudiger and wish we could have got one over on them there but my one positive from the game is that Khusanov was great. Had a shaky header and other than that he was near faultless.

If anyone listened to TNT tonight, I’m with you. Mcmanaman and the doughnut that is Rio Ferdinand couldn’t have been more obvious. Getting sick to death of the disdain for us from English broadcasting channels but the love for other English teams is there all the time.

Pep, you dropped the ball abit tonight. Gundo and Bernardo midfield was like watching slo-mo cameras.

In conclusion. Positives: Khusanov and Mcatee come on and looked good too.

Everything else: We’re diabolical at the minute but Steve McManaman and Wio need slapping hard

That’s probably the best Madrid side we’ve faced over the last few seasons. Game was over really after the home leg

Thought Khusanov played well and kept Vini reasonably quiet.
Nico looks like a 2019 Rodri. Obviously got all the talent but may take some time to reach his full potential


Not really changed much we need a really good attacker (preferably Wirtz) and least 2 mire good players

Actually a little fortunate they’ve took there foot of the gas and didn’t make it a 5/6-1 game

The Madrid side we beat 4-0 in the Treble season are better than this Madrid side. We've just fallen off far, far more than they have.

As if we were ever gonna win it this year with performances like that!!

We have fallen so far from the top of the table it's unreal.

Been saying this since 3 or 4 games into that horrific run of games last year. Every game we win is just papering over the huge cracks that runs straight through the team.

When we do win ala Newcastle, Chelsea etc..its because the opposition are generally poor. Chelsea gifted us a couple and Newcastle didn't turn up.

I'm more bothered about the way we play in games now. Not fussed about the results.

And we are playing so badly compared to the last 4 seasons. Opposition cut us open with ease. Madrid scored tonight from OUR corner. 5 or 6 passes and it's in the back of the net. And that won't be the last example this season of that happening.

Half of this team are done. If they don't wanna be here, pat them on the back and we will get players who do!!!
