I'll take that but with a win at the swamp so they finish 15th.

I like these, can you be kind enough to send or post the link for it and I'll have a go, just let me take my blue tinted specs off first though.

Given all the current doom and gloom it's probably the wrong thread to suggest that City's recent Premier League form has been relatively good with 16 points and 22 goals from the last 7 games.

In comparison, table-topping Liverpool are 15 points and 15 goals from the same period having drawn with Forest, Everton and Villa.

Even stranger, despite our embarrassing performance at Arsenal we've only conceded 2 more goals (9) than Liverpool (7) despite the latter boasting the greatest central defender in the history of world football.

I think we'll end up fairly comfortably in the top 4. What will be quite annoying is if the dippers and arsenal fade quite badly and we end up only a few results away from the title.

It would be nice to finish second (although can’t see it personally) as it would cement Pep further as the greatest manager in English league history given certain other managers’ lowest ever PL finishes: Ferguson (3rd) Wenger (4th) and Klopp (5th).
To finish second after the issues of this season would be an incredible achievement, like you I can't see it , for me if we quality for next years CL it will be a huge plus.

Good results for us in Europe last night. Both Milan and Atalanta were eliminated. Meaning Italy will struggle to reach the English coefficients. Spain might catch us, but it would take a crazy turnaround for Italy/Portugal etc to also catch us.
Can you explain why it is so likely that England gets a 5th spot? Spain have as many clubs left in Europe as England, Italy and Germany both have just 1 less?

The country coefficient works by averaging the coefficient of all their representative clubs.

You gain coefficient points for winning/drawing matches. You get more points in the Champions League, then Europa, then Conference league.

The two top countries get a bonus (5th place in our case) entry. Currently England have the most points, then Spain, then Italy (with Portugal a way back in 4th).

We have 3 teams in UCL, Italy 1. We have 2 teams each in the Europa. We have 1 team each in Conference League.

It's pretty much impossible that their 4 representatives will outscore our 6, especially given that half of ours are in the Champions League (vs 1/4 of theirs).

It doesn't really matter whether Spain out perform us - the top two get bonus place, so we're only bothered about who finishes third.

Sadly?

It's like choosing a common cold over Ebola Virus
Yeah, but having evaluated all potential outcomes, I would still favour Arsenal to win it.

The laughter I could have at Liverpool's expense would over-ride any anger at seeing the likes of Arteta, Gabriel and Lewis Skelly running about with a winners medal

I don't think they will though. They won't get near Liverpool

I'm with you on that outcome.

I was replying to a Poster who wasn't

I don't want Arsenal the tarquin cunts anywhere near the title. Liverpool really don't bother me anymore. Arsenal are a bunch of self entitled cunts and I dont want them winning anything

So true,

Who to win the league, both clubs and fans are a bunch of thundercunts.
League Cup Scousers or geordies same as above.
