What about a back 5? Dias, Ake and AK as 3 CBs with Gvardiol and Nunes pushing up as wing backs, with Nico holding, would probably not leave so much space?

Or just keep the fullbacks back, play with genuine width but have 3 in midfield. What i don’t want to see is 2 in the middle most of the game like in Madrid. With no natural width, Bernado in the middle of nowhere and fullbacks trying to push on leaving huge gaps down the flanks.

We beat them on Sunday and they will collapse, PSG will maul them and the Geordies stand more than a fighting chance. Neverton will get something from their game and the last 4 games are stingers.

I think the midfield has to have only 1 of Gundo, Bernardo or Kev for the rest of the season/the rest of time. Possibly even Gundo, Bernardo, Kev, and Kovacic (assuming Nico plays defensive mid)

The worse thing Pep can do here is start any of Gundo, Kova and Bernardo together. One of them is fine, but we completely lose shape and running ability when there is more than that.

I’d play Doku and Savio out wide, with Marmoush behind Erling. Agree with rest of side.

He didn't say he would train tomorrow he just said there's training to come and they'll decide then. He was always going to say that regardless of haalands condition so nothing to take from that
