Some players are just past it like KdB and he will never be the player he once was. He was incredible at his peak but he has to be moved on now but we're likely to get next to nothing for him. I do think the club needs to think about how to handle players who've gone past their best and sell them just after their peak. Our legends now are likely be worth next to nothing due to age and we have too many of them.
I do wonder if players like Bernardo, Akanji and Ake just need a rest though. I would be reluctant to see 8 or so players go at once and replaced as it will require another season to bed them in. We should be looking at moving on a couple a season really, but I do think this season we have to be brutal.
Ederson, Walker, Stones, KdB, Nunes, Gundogan, Grealish and Kovacic are the ones I would be looking to move on but I don't see much coming in for them. I would imagine 100-150m maximum.
If we need to sell players to raise serious money then Dias needs a rocket up his arse or he goes. He's not the player he was a few years ago.
I don't know who we can bring in but we need players who are fast for a start.
