Seat Counters - 2024/25

I don’t doubt you’re telling the truth. But I do wonder whether a guy on a tenner an hour to show people round the ground is privy to all the top level talks in the boardroom about how they see the long term vision for the club?
In fairness to the guy you're responding to, I was also told on the Stadium Tour that City were hoping to apply for a CL Final once the capacity was 60,000.

However the tour guide struck me as a non-City fan with a presentation skills degree, simply quoting from a rehearsed script.
His next line was a factually incorrect anecdote from the victory over Schalke so I didn't take anything he said too seriously.

Applying for a final you’re unlikely to get, once the ground happens to meet certain criteria is one thing.

Spending millions upgrading a ground for the specific purpose of applying for a game you’re unlikely to get is something completely different.

I went on the stadium tour last season and 90% was about corporate seating and hospitality. Barely anything on our history.

Here come the seat flappers.

As we go through every week, these are seat exchange returns and will be gone now. But others will be popping up until three hours before kickoff. Then vanishing again.

Nobody is flapping.
Couldn’t give fishes tit’s whether is sells out!
Obviously they are ticket exchange.
What i am saying is you wouldn’t think tickets for a game of this magnitude wouldn’t last 30 seconds on the website

My brother has just got one in SS1 which is a bonus anyway. Just very surprised

Many Blues are now reluctance to use the Ticket Exchange and to stop Blues getting priced out of going to games.

The 27 tickets will sell, like you said.

If I ever can't go, I transfer mine to one of my friends and family and let one of my mates use it.
A couple of seasons back, we played Wolves and a lad and son who sit near me weren't there, a lad and girl were sat there instead.
Got talking to them and asked if they knew the regulars who sat there.
They told me they didnt and had bought from the club and told me how much they had paid which worked out at triple the amount the regulars sold them back to the club for.

They would have been last season, but not this season. When they are removed off sale, there are generally hundreds left; for Liverpool, it will undoubtedly be fewer, but as you mentioned, every individual seat used to shift in seconds. Contrary to what some people would have you believe, demand has clearly dropped. Currently, it's ticket exchange; eventually, it'll be initial sales that don't shift.
