Seat Counters - 2024/25

They were all over the place in every stand. What’s an embarrassment is every big game the amount of away supporters in the home ends is gonna end up with legacy fans being banned for getting caught up in the mither.

The video doing the rounds of the trouble in the south stand is not going to end well for some blues. Once Citys security team and police have reviewed the CCTV footage banning orders could be the least of the worries for some.

It’s a joke that City’s ticketing fuck ups has caused these situations. Either don’t sell tickets via agencies or make sure away supporters don’t get in to home areas. Sort it out.
Do you have a link I could do with a laugh er I mean I am interested…

I didn’t see or hear them. I’m not embarrassed.

Away fans in the home end has been going on since the year dot. It will never change. Look at our Blackburn promotion game as a perfect example. If someone wants to take the risk, then so be it. But I can't see how it can ever be stopped.
Over the years me and my mates have been in the home end when watching City away many times. Going to the likes of Liverpool, Everton Newcastle Chelsea West Ham and United, granted it was before all seater stadiums were the norm

Watched the Sheff United v Leeds game.

Leeds scored two goals near the end of the game and won the match.

The Leeds away end went mental.

Leeds fans spilling over the advertising hoardings, going mad on the terraces, wheelchair users wheeling themselves over to the Leeds players celebrating the goals, and....... not a single tourist insight that I could make out. Nobody filming the match on their mobiles, etc.

Just watched the end of that as well, great stuff.

People in general need to learn to put the phones down and just experience whatever it is they're doing. It's like when you see footage of a concert or festival. Half the people have their phones up, nobody looks like they're having any fun.

I've just done a quick check, and apparently neither Leeds nor Sheffyoo are in the Premier League or the Champions League. - Hence no f'ing tourists.

Watched them on tv last Monday at home to Sunderland, very good atmosphere and certainly no discernible pockets of tourists, lucky cunts

It’s not a laugh for the blues caught up in it. A Cheshire MP has just been sentenced to 10 weeks prison for throwing 5 punches caught on CCTV and football related trouble is treated far worse by the courts.

Those 5 blues arrested are in a load of trouble all because City decide to flood the home ends with away fans provided they pay £300 via our ‘partners’.

The next big game at home it might be a group of away fans next to anybody in the home ends cause City really dont care.

Life changing really. All caused by the club and yes other peoples stupidity but the club cause that situation.

I’m a bit gutted the video exists as it adds further traction to the issue and will certainly get them a ban and criminal record.

You’ll see fights outside bars and clubs every weekend yet you will rarely see a witch hunt or an arrest. Amazing how the police find the resources for football fans.

Anyway bought an extra few for Plymouth :)

I can’t stand the fans who record and share such videos either. They must know those involved are looking at serious prosecutions.

I saw a kerfuffle in the family stand after the Liverpool first but there were none that I saw in my stand. Certainly nothing to be “embarrassed” about.
Yep. Hardly any in the grand scheme of things.
And those that were near me were certainly not "scousers".

Exactly in a dressed down way they are a Grass. Most people can be tipped over the edge in these events. I myself have been on the cusp a few times, employers are more likely to see and find out this way. Just another issue with society today.

Leeds will be in the PL next season. It will be the same home crowd and the same away crowd that is there in the championship. And that also applies for Sheff United if they get to the PL next season.

I agree for the first season or two, but for how long? If both clubs have a high percentage of ST holders then it will be harder for random fans to infiltrate. However, if they enjoy a bit of success and increase prices then a few regulars may give up.
Capacities of 37k and 32k might also reduce the opportunities for tourists. I doubt we'd see many at the Etihad if we were still at 48,000.

Just interesting that when the scousers threw a pint cup filled with coins down from SS3, seriously injuring a teenage girl, there was no CCTV anywhere to be seen

Agreed - but everybody can’t wait to post situations on social media these days. There is also loads of CCTV inside the stadium which means anybody involved has a big problem.

Like you say it’s life changing for those lads. Anybody on here saying they didn’t see any problems then good for them - unfortunately for some others City allowed LFC supporters to be next to them and it went off and it’s gonna be a nightmare for them.

It could be anybody on here next time. How does anybody know how they will react if a fan of the opposition starts celebrating sat next the them in the home end?
