That’s not going to be far away. Maybe Marmoush instead of De Bruyne.
The problem with whatever team Pep puts out lies in implementing the tactics. The midfield and back 4 are lacking pace, but Pep pushes the team right up the pitch where just one ball over the top of our defence causes chaos every time. Why can’t Pep setup the defence to be 10 metres deeper and not press so much. The squad at this moment cannot handle pressing so high up the pitch. I say let’s reintroduce high pressing until after the next transfer window, when hopefully we will have a squad that’s a lot younger and more hungrier to succeed.
It’s so obvious to me. It may even negate tippy tappy football, 20 players crowding around the edge of the opponents area until they break out and score so many times.
This is not meant as an attack on Pep, but surely by now he can see we don’t have the personnel to press so much all the time.
Personally I believe this is a major cause of so many injuries this season. The squad can’t cope with the demands at the moment.
Work with what we got and set the team up to be able to compete better.

I’d swap Foden for Doku or we could get swamped in midfield
 
Savinho and Haaland/Marmoush either side of the salah penalty will do.
Then the feral fuckers can fuck off.

Interesting idea having KDB up top. He can't get back much these days, so it might not be the worst place to play him as long as we support him with some pace.

a shame, I quite like him but as you say the BBC can't help themsleves. Still, we've all had a good laugh about the Dippers failures over the years to get past us. Shared the last seven titles with us you know...

Just looked at table 17 points behind scoucers if we win and win our game in hand would only be 11 points behind them.and they still have some tough games.they might start having a wobble.got to win our games though

Forgive me. Forgot about being successful a couple of years back - but for some reason I can still remember every game in the 1st Division and relate it as 'the good old days'.

Play with pace, get the young lads out there and only put 1 player around Nico who can't run, not 2 or 3.

Don't mind Liverpool winning the title, made my peace with it but make them fucking work for it elsewhere whilst we hunt Arsenal down.

Oh and can someone put Salah in row Z (fair and legally) early on, take turns if you have to.
