I’m 32 but he’s the best I’ve ever seen in a City shirt. Above Merlin, Yaya, Aguero, Kompany etc.
It’s rare that you watch a player and recognise he’s in the prime of his career right in front of your eyes. But I‘ve had that feeling with Kev over and over again. From the absolutely sublime to the ridiculous (in a good way) and leaving the stadium speechless/in awe when he made a pass. A thunderbastard of a shot on him. Pressed well. Tackled well. Led the team well.
And he worked his bollocks off all while doing it. And when doing it in big games, big moments and winning every trophy possible.
This past season is just that, 1 season in an otherwise perfection shrine that he’s built for himself since joining. Should be - and will be - remembered for being an absolute genius of his craft.
