PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

It’s a bus going round with judges with looks likes city flags cheering about the charges

I don't know anything about this paddy power bus thing... but as if they'd know anything before anybody else!!??

Also they'll be filming the alternative verdict anytime now so that they're ready for the day we all find out
So a betting company know the results of the 115 case before the 2 main parties?

They should be asking for their money back, not up to their usual standards.
They are just milking the expectations of suggested timing for their own PR and profile exposure. Something they always do, and do pretty well. People are reading way too much into it.

Spot on. They’ll have both outcomes covered for sure.

Much more significant is what Ornstein said. He’s well connected and if City have told him we’re confident at such a late stage in the process then that could indicate that the club know the outcome.

Their PR is outstanding, they have my total respect for that...
a man in a blue shirt is holding a mug that says city on it

They reckon it was before but they got their money from floating on the stock market. Opportunists bought shares in their future, so it allowed them to outspend everyone else, it could have gone wrong then.

If they want to complain about the Glazers they should complain about everything after they listed in 1991.
You forget the £13m team…..the most expensive ever built at the time (88/89). Obviously preceding the floatation

That £13m the spent in 2 seasons which I think was (can’t remember exactly how much) over 80% of their turnover for those 2 years

Pretty much all borrowed from the bank if memory serves

The further organic injection of cash did indeed come from floating, which circumnavigated the rules at the time

They got more organic cash from 1992 onwards with the deal they struck with Arse, Liverpool, Everton, Spurs & the Prem. Obviously an organic influence & increase in revenue

Then the G14 decided they wanted another organic decision on how to widen the gap between themselves & the rest with CL top 3 (then 4)

So that’s 4 examples of how to grow organically without even mentioning the abolishment of sharing gate receipts in the 80’s

Except he didn't say he'd heard anything new. He just reiterated the clubs initial stance

I never said that he had. I just happen to think that the club have re-iterated that stance to him very recently and considering the hearing ended over 2 months ago, I think that could be significant. You can't tell me that the club are totally in the dark at such a late stage.

Exactly my view, no way imo was it a coincidence that Ornstein happened to make those comments.
