PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

He’s said from the word go his source has told him it’s all window dressing bollocks and we’ll be cleared.

@Matt Diablo want to chime in mate?

As much as I believe we will clear our name, do you mean from the point of after the hearing?

Because I don't think the money spent from either side on legal fees is window dressing

Exactly. Tens of millions of legal fees on both sides tells you it wasn’t window dressing.

Diablo has said it was bullshit from the start - but there have been multiple comments on the record from City that they were ultra confident so I hardly think anybody leaking anything would say any different.

My nerves might be calmer if there are some other updates leaked post hearing.

Just gonna have to wait.

Indeed mate - all i cared about was sharing asap to try give some peace to fellow Blues as this shit was properly getting on my mammies at the time

If it was found that we were guilty, it is the fans, coaching staff and players that would be punished, not the owners. As the charges are all about the owners, surely a fine would be the only justifiable sanction.

Tolmie was suggesting the same time ago. He heard summit from somewhere/one as I remember. It's definately seeping out here and there. Mine was indirectly from the horses mouth so was/ is enough for me . . .

It’s good to hear but Tolmie’s comments were months ago - and some City Directors mentioned on the record pre hearing that they were ultra confident.

They have never wavered from that confidence - but would prefer to hear some post hearing leaks.

Honestly can't recall, but was one of the charges that we hadn't disclosed the Al Jazeera contract to the PL, and therefore broke their rules?

My concern is that, a bit like the huge fines for being 1 minute late out for the second half, we'll be pulled up for minor administrative issues whilst being cleared of the main thrust of the charges, and be subject to excessive punishment for those minor indiscretions. It gives the PL a get out for the whole exercise, and leaves City with the unenviable task of persuading Delaney that we were innocent after all....
It’s an independent panel, not a PL committee.

For MCFC to be charged with not disclosing the contract between Mancini and Al Jazeera makes no sense unless you first prove that it wasn’t a genuine contract between RM and AJ in the first place.

I struggle to see how they can do that if the panel doesn’t even hear evidence from RM.

Or AJ.

Charlie Veitch on YouTube came across the Paddy Poer bus with barristers waving blue flags - they were not happy he tried to film it - but it's in the first couple of minutes of his video
