Only two and a bit weeks away now. Anyone got any strong fancies? The Kopek Des Bordes/Constitution Hill double on the Tuesday looks absolutely bulletproof to me at just shy of 2s.

I can’t argue with those two in a double.

Constitution Hill has looked like one of those generational horses and Kopek Des Bordes looked a monster last time out at Leopardstown. He beat a bunch of fellow stablemates that day and I don't know how good the form was, but he couldn't have been more impressive and looked the winner from a long, long way out. The stronger pace in the Supreme should help him.

Another I might add to make it a treble is Galopin Des Champs, because I think he’s simply superior to anything he faces in the race.

Two strong favourites that personally I’m not convinced about are Majborough and Jonbon. I presume Ballyburn will go for the Brown Advisory and will be favourite, but I quite like the way Dancing City is progressing.

I think Jonbon is a cracking price to be honest

If favourites are your thing you could have a Goliath bet.

TUE - Kopek Des Bordes
TUE - Majborough
TUE - Constitution Hill
WEDS - Ballyburn
WEDS - Jonbon
THUR - Fact to File
THUR - Teahupoo
FRI - Galapin Des Champs

20p Goliath costs £49.40 and if they all win you’ll clear a grand.

You’d be unlucky if at least 5 of these didn’t win.

10/11- no brainer

If it was anywhere else he would be a certainty but he always seems to run 10lb below his best at Cheltenham. May still be good enough in a poor division but I'm leaving him out of the accas and taking a punt on Gaelic Warrior. He was shite at last years DRF aswell and won the Arkle on the steel

Managed to get Kopek Des Bordes at a lovely antepost price... for the wrong fucking race. Was certain he would run in the 2m4f earlier in the season.

Have a nagging feeling everyone's favorite cheating horse Langer Dan is going to suddenly grow wings and throw down a real challenge to Teauphoo in the stayers aswell

Langer Dan probably goes in Coral Cup?

Dunno yet

Either way I had the thing at 15/2 last year, which covered the whole week!

Still planned for the Stayers last I heard think his marks too high to do anything in hcaps anymore, would be top weight in Coral Cup.

Last year was hilarious, ran like a donkey all year then went and pissed up, trainer giving it the old he comes alive in the spring bollocks.

Not sure what they have gained from its performances so far this season but it's still a 2 time festival winner and would be 3 if it didn't run into Galopin des Champs.

I fancy a horse called Crebilly, it’s running in a chase on the first day, look out for it it’s around 10/1

Some horses are made for that Cheltenham hill..............................a lot aren't!

By the way all the Irish horses going over there again to win most of the races. They seem to have the best horses here what I would say the past few weeks the ground has been so heavy and wet here. I would always look at a few each way horses in the big fields. The short price favourites there is always a banker that fails to win. Will have a closer look and put up some I think but with ante post it's too far out for me to bet on it.

Nicky has 3 very hot favs in Lulamba, Jonbon and Constitution Hill and Sir Gino would have wiped the floor with anything if he didn't get injured. Irish horses get nailed by the British handicapper nowadays aswell, definitely doesn't mean they won't get winners but we'll be competitive in them. I reckon Willie will probably end up getting as many or a couple more than the whole of Britain and the other big Irish yards will make up the difference.

I'm still pretty gutted about Sir Gino tbh, he was going to be the lynchpin of my weeks betting, couldn't have him beaten at all

Hello Neighbour looks a good horse in one of the hurdle races maybe the Triumph Hurdle and Sixandahalf for Gavin Cromwell look good to go for the smaller Irish yards. Gordon and Willie will get a few the bumper races I always have a look at Derek O Connor rides in the Bumpers he is always value for a winner.
