It will be interesting to see what the US has promised in return and what sort of security guarantees comes with it. After all, there can be no extraction of minerals in a war zone.

I actually trust Sky with the initial reporting, but with their need to stretch for 24 hour reporting, you just can’t trust it once their editorial kicks in. Especially those influencers who decide what you need to hear.

Maybe Trump getting minerals from Ukraine is a kind of step into war (or peace involvement) on the basis that Russian attacks on American 'assets' may bring America into the conflict. And if it doesn't and a state of peace should occur, the Americans will get raw materials cheap as the price for being there and involved and Trump will be lauded as a genius and a super businessman worthy of his presidency.

There will be something in it for him for sure.
