I think this inconsistency is where we are now. Nowhere near the team we were and certainly not the best team in Europe. We have fallen a long way this season. Hopefully Rodri coming back and 2/3 signings in Summer with a bit of a clear out and we will be challenging again. It is possible it might take a bit longer though.

Going to be tough task IMO. It’s one thing trudging through against Spurs it’s another to face Forest dynamic front line in a hostile atmosphere. Next to Dippers it’s probably our hardest fixture. I will say this though having Khus, Dias and Gvardiol back there with Haaland up front and two wingers should give us confidence of getting something out of the game. It’s our midfield that is the issue now!

Huge result that last night. More points gained on Arsenal and Forest and those below are so inconsistent. It's like the Championship this season. A good run of results puts you right up there. If we can find any consistency we will coast it. I still think we will be fine, our last 5 are much easier than most of our competition and when the pressure is on we will be much better at handling it too.

Beating Forest to drag them right back into it would be a huge bonus.

I was just thinking the same thing and strangely we might have been worse off (in terms of league position) if it had been the other way round and we'd beaten Liverpool and Arsenal but lost to Newcastle and Chelsea.

More importantly some of our Top 5 rivals will be playing each other when City face the easier fixtures and I can now see us finishing 3rd or potentially 2nd and thus taking the laughter at Fat Robby and ATV off the scale.
