Spot on. He had grown in the game enough for me that day that I was surprised when Pep decided to hook him in the second. After the Chelsea game it seemed we had some player when compared to the others we brought in January.

Great players and characters deal with adversity, that's what makes them great.

Incredibly that first 5 minutes would have destroyed the career of a lot of players, not this lad, he got his head down and got on with the job and since has simply been outstanding.

I love the story Pep gave his his post game presser, Khasanov just turning up for the game in his tracksuit, no fancy bag full of sh1t, proper old school and so refreshing to see.

If he keeps on the straight and narrow, keeps learning we may be witnessing a very special player and character.
