What is also so impressive about the 'Speed and power' clip and below (pace aside), is how quickly he bounces straight back up to his feet after making a sliding challenge or landing hard and how he then stays ON the opponent like glue.

A lot of young players would’ve gone into their shell after that mixup with Akanji v Chelsea.

Khusanov stood tall and didn’t let it get to him. On his debut in a foreign country where he doesn’t know anyone.

It takes some real bravery that. Was obvious right then and there that he’s got it in him.
