Finished Zero Day last night and really enjoyed it.
Was a bit surprised by the changes in De Niro physically though (maybe I shouldn’t be though as he’s 81 now), he’s quite hunched and stooped in the shoulders like my dad did with his Parkinson’s. Not saying he’s got that but he does have that ‘stiffness’.

And it’s a good one, although I can’t work out how it’s leading us to where it’s headed !

You’ve got to give these type of programmes a bit of leaway in the realism stakes. But fuck me, they’re taking liberties with this one. I’m almost treating it as a comedy now.
Think I’m probably just sticking with it for the excellent violence.
I always think that the best series have the highest investment (time) and the biggest payback - Severance is worth sticking with but you have to be prepared to invest your time - it's not a wham bam thank you mam type of series. If you need constant changes of pace then give this one a miss!!
The series i get the most out of are the ones that you randomly start thinking about hours or days later when parts of the plot come to mind as you unravel it in your subconscious
The only long series i invested highly in that was total crap was Better Call Saul. Just thought it meandered pointlessly and was relieved it was over as it bored me (controversial opinion i know)
@chesterbells yes totally know the scene you're referring to but it's nowhere near as bad as the scalp (off and back on) scene in American Primeval that i had to get my missus to tell me when it was safe to watch!

I’m half way through the second series now and have given up even concerning myself trying to work out who’s on who’s side and who hates who. I think even the writers gave up worrying about minor details like that a while back to be honest.
I’m just kind of enjoying the ridiculousness of it all now, in a sadistic sort of way.

Pistols it is :-)I know I’m in the minority but the series went on forever, was mostly boring and the ending was so meh I can’t even remember it (which admittedly isn’t saying much)
Not that it didn’t have its moments but I didn’t think it was worth all the time spent on it
Enjoyed it. Didnt have me gripped to the point where i want to watch the next one immediately but a decent enough watch. I don't really think Deniro added much to it.
