Bollocks..for teams from a lower division it's a big day out..they sing because they are excited to be playing us and know that realistically they have no fucking chance if beating us.Our fan base summed up I thought it was shocking we are getting giddy from where we come from totally entitled these days

Moving us from SS3 kills the atmosphere..we should shove away fans in SS1 and 2..they wouldn't make that much noise then.
I did say level 1 and 2 mate..That isn't practical. The club would have to accommodate 6000 away fans on L1. The club would have to give them all of SSL1. And additional blocks on ESL1, maybe.
It can easily be done for PL games as that would be the same 3,000 seats they got before the SS3 was added.I did say level 1 and 2 mate..
It's crazy giving them SS3..
Their biggest day since Drake played bowls & Adolf dropped bombs.Plymouth fans were brilliant yesterday, didn't stop singing, but gotta remember this was their biggest game for years, an away game at the current Premier league holders, they travelled in numbers for their big day out and they enjoyed it, fair play to them.
I thought our support was subdued.
....less risks, no compromise, same arrangements.often thought this myself, only presume its the police
Tell him to fuck off back to their relegation battle in Devon whilst we'll relax as four times champions.World Club Champions and Charity Shield Champions.Just bumped into my Plymouth mate in the hotel said Thats the worse home support all season I tried to make excuses but failed miserably
poor effort at wumming that Must try harderJust bumped into my Plymouth mate in the hotel said Thats the worse home support all season I tried to make excuses but failed miserably
We now have three home game fan bases -:TBH I’d be chuffed to see more local Asians if they were proper Blues. I just don’t see it tbh. If they were singing, wearing City colours, non half and halves, then maybe. Anyway, my point was I don’t think you’re getting anywhere with your theory.
We now have three home game fan bases -:
1) PL. Mainly core regulars with a growing number of young, local newbies & a few transient 'tourists'
2) CL. Less core regulars, thousands of transient 'tourists', a smallish number of young, local newbies.
3) FA & CC Core regulars and thousands of young, local displaced fans and newbies.
When the Club hold the EGM next week I hope that they analyse the age demographic of the supporter base, factor in mortality rates and establish a long term commitment to rebuild our local fan base, or it will disappear in two decades !!
Git to my seat yesterday.
We have 2 different fan bases.
Those fans who are bothered about the match day ticket and season ticket price rises and either pay it begrudgingly or don’t pay it.
Those fans who are not bothered about the match day ticket price rises and pay it.
The latter are increasing in numbers. The former are either giving up or have given up.
Loads on here sneer at people who have to give their season ticket up because of cost, and almost congratulate tourists for being able to afford a £200 ticket for even a league game,
We should have a chant where the Kippax Corner chant for a bit, then the SSL1 chant back at them, and have it going to-and-fro over the away fans.
Thought Plymouth doing it yesterday really held up well for ages. Just that the actual chant they didn’t (‘left side…right side’) is a bit cheesy and overdone.
Maybe bring back ‘WE’RE CITY WE’RE BARMY WE’RE OFF OUR FUCKING HEADS’ or ‘CITY TIL I DIE, I’M CITY TIL I DIE, I KNOW, I AM I’M SURE I AM, I’M CITY TIL I DIE’ and have each side chant it back at each other for a few minutes.
Did you sing for our lads throughout the game. Yes or no??Just bumped into my Plymouth mate in the hotel said Thats the worse home support all season I tried to make excuses but failed miserably
Always love it when we get going and start giving each other shit. Usually starts after a half arsed poznan attempt. Away fans just look confused as we give it back and forthWe should have a chant where the Kippax Corner chant for a bit, then the SSL1 chant back at them, and have it going to-and-fro over the away fans.

Yeah, good point.We should.
But how do we get that started so everyone joins in?
So....they are shit seats and no roof to bounce noise off. That isn't practical. The club would have to accommodate 6000 away fans on L1. The club would have to give them all of SSL1. And additional blocks on ESL1, maybe.
