Another absolutely brilliant gig from 1982. Quality is a bit dodgy at first, but soon settles down. Disgracefully, has less than 200 views so far on YT.

Reading Festival 1990 - I was there, only my second Fall gig - really good but slightly overshadowed by the Pixies incredible set straight after (that's still the best live performance I've ever seen).

Regarding that Reading footage, does anyone know who that bloke on keyboards is? Doesn't seem to match anyone in the Dave Simpson book

I know half of it came from the house, but that’s not a bad estate for someone who was always claiming to be skint!
No surprise most of it going to his sister and his mam. I believe they all had a strong relationship and if he’d cut one former partner/ wife in, he’d have to do them all. Far too much mither.

Craig Scanlon made me do a double-take there - almost didn’t recognise him. I think the last and only time I’d seen him since he left The Fall in the mid 90s was a year or two later. He was a work-colleague of mate of mine at Salford Council housing department and I saw him briefly from across the room in some pub in Swinton, when I met my mate after work one night.
