I turned my brother and sister in law onto Fontaines a while back and they messaged me a few weeks ago saying check out this band, the fall. They are just like Fontaines D.C like I hadn't heard of the Fall. : )Fontaines DC sound very like The Fall. Particularly on "Hurricaine Laughter" I think.

A couple of years ago I went to see Idles. Support were Fontaines DC, who I was excited to see, because I’d read a lot of good things about them. I thought they were absolute dogshit. The Fall lasted 40 years. If they were that shite how did they last that long? How many X Factor / Pop Idol divvies will be able to say the same?

You can hear The Fall in pretty much any decent band.
