What does tightening the noose look like and how much would it cost? In terms of money and lost lives? You are advocating for Ukraine to take back by military force Crimea. I don’t think Ukraine have even come close to taking back the lost territory on the mainland even before Crimea is considered.

It’s a pipe dream, unfortunately

I imagine the U.K. and other allies will be reluctant to share any intelligence gathered on Russia with the US now. The relationship could collapse pretty quickly

Tightening the noose by increasing sanctions and giving the Ukrainians more military equipment including offensive weapons to allow them to be on the front foot

Zelensky himself has stated they can’t do that independently, so are you talking British and NATo troops in direct conflict with Russian troops to take back Ukraine’s lost territory?
 
I’ve seen it said trump wants the $300 billion assets so Ukraine can buy USA weapons, so how does that work for Putin then if basically Ukraine arm themselves to the teeth? It’s completely fucked, Trump is trying to play both sides, he shoukd say we ain’t selling any arms if he wants peace.

At what point though are they cutting off their nose to spite their face? Its a dangerous game and very difficult balancing act. Would hurt their own economy badly

Dubious legalities aside, the censorship and crackdown on opposing views is going to come thick and fast. The Mrs works in the ecommerce world. Among the people who run and moderate social media for brands, there’s a strong belief that ‘politically dissenting’ groups are very shortly going to be targeted and taken down.

So if hypothetical speak if Russia has been pushed back and the only have crimea. Ukraine could use that as a bargaining chip, keep crimea we join NATO or we go for crimea as well.
You do realise Ukraine occupy Russian territory already and Russia have not been able to take it back, is that a sign of an all powerful Russia?

Crimea doesn't need taking by force, it can be negotiated. It's a war of attrition and russia are close to burning out which is why what trump is doing is unforgivable.

Take the bridge down would be a huge statement and keep it down, it’s more symbolic than anything.

America is becoming a dictatorship right in front of its population.
I thought things like this only happened in places like Rumania and countries with a less educated population.
But seems I was wrong it can happen anywhere unless the Americans are brainwashed and uneducated
